Same thing here. A guy I was supposed to go out with had attempted to murder his ex-gf; she saw his boot prints outside her house, called the cops, and they found him in the basement with a murder kit (knives, tarp, rope, etc). Also extremely clean cut and gentlemanly, you would have never known.

I was young and suspicious of someone I dated.

He lied about his age, he took off two years.

I brushed it off at the time.

But he was lying about so much else too.

He had a whole secret life sleeping with men and not out of the closet, and he eventually died by suicide.

I wish I had listened to my gut.

FWIW, I actively scrub my information from those places. Most people should. Too much potential for invasion of privacy or misunderstandings.

For example, I recently found out that someone with my (unusual) name down to the same middle initial is on a registered sex offender list. They're 10 years younger and live in a different state, but even so...

. How do you scrub this information?

I looked up a woman my friend was dating and she had a ton of restraining orders against her by various people. DUIs, lawsuits against her. You would never suspect….

Not PP, but obvusiuky I am not going to spend my time with criminals. It’s the whole point of checking. If I find you have a criminal record, I block and move on.

The ones who will not be moved from the PTAs and various committees are the ones that surprise me the most…the level of delinquency and liens you find is unbelievable.
