Checking people’s backgrounds

Employment is a justifiable reason that you give some kind of consent for a background check to be conducted. Any unjustifiable intrusion into someone’s personal life w/o consent is grounds for a lawsuit…then you get a bag!…you get a bag!…you get a bag!🤑😁

It's a matter of public record. You don't have to consent.

Again, what standing would you have for a lawsuit if someone looked you up on a court website? It's public record.

Forget a divorce lawyer, recommend some real good privacy lawyers.

Well a public record isn’t in invasion, is it? Let’s keep up…it’s the private sources of info that OP is trying to dig up that will be like stepping on a landmine. I think it’s a great idea.

Look out for DWI's, speeding tickets, abuse or any criminal background. So many men lie. They can look me up too. I have no criminal background.

My girlfriend looked someone up and he had struck his last girlfriend in the face with a gun. If you had met him you would never know. Clean cut with a good job.

If it can be found in the background search, it's public information. You have no idea what you're talking about nor do you have any legal standing.

Who are these folks you’re dating and entertaining that you feel the need to want to do this?

This is exactly why court records are public information. Of course prospective partners should have this kind of information. To not look for it is downright irresponsible.

If I'm dating you, it's very much my business to know if you're a criminal. Only criminals react the way you do.

Same thing here. A guy I was supposed to go out with had attempted to murder his ex-gf; she saw his boot prints outside her house, called the cops, and they found him in the basement with a murder kit (knives, tarp, rope, etc). Also extremely clean cut and gentlemanly, you would have never known.
