Yes! They take 30-40 from our NOVA public each year.

+1 they have said the most competitive/high stats kids are in the EA round for the most part. They save spots.

I know someone already got into UT Austin oos last week. So I know my kid will be rejected or deferred as looks like they already sent out some acceptances.

It was in mid-December. They released a small batch of acceptances. Someone at my DC’s FCPS got in.
