Women should do what they want.
If you want to ask guys out go ahead if you don't then don't. |
You men want to opt out of raising kids and keeping a home, out of giving up your identity, but you don’t want to be the man anymore in courting or sex or in the workplace. Figure it out, Joe. You love the patriarchy so much, your snowflake butt can go up to a female and say “how are you?”. It’s not hard. |
Exactly. The laziness is bad enough, but the entitlement to complain and demand women accommodate him is really something else. |
| OP, you don't seem to understand one critical thing: Waiting for the guy to approach is a useful litmus test for confidence, social skills, and proactivity. I'm by definition not interested in a man who won't approach me. |
| Most women are too cowardly to risk the rejection that comes with approaching people romantically. This will likely never change. It is what it is. |
True, that’s why there is no such thing as a lesbian. But if your extremely limited case is that there are not women trying to be pick up artists, sure. (plus - women have social skills and know that “approaching people romantically” on a haphazard basis is inappropriate. While I personally don’t have an issue striking up conversations, I don’t blame any woman for utilizing social norms to assess whether a man is interested in them in a public place - which means yes, she may communicate non-verbally but he will usually make the first verbal move. If you think a woman’s non-verbal communication of interests is somehow too confusing or whatever, see above about social skills.) |
What is considered an appropriate venue dramatically changes person by person. I hate to bring pop culture into this, but there's literally a song that was released this year that is about how women going to a club just want to dance with each other and not get approached by men. |
I guess let's skip past the part where I talk about being a great dad and partner in the home and the part where you don't believe me. I was pointing out that you can tell that the game isn't "very fun" for both players by the fact that women mostly only want to play by the rules for Player One and don't want to play by the rules for Player Two. |

My god what is the purpose even of men if they can’t even approach women?! They can’t approach women, they can’t pay for the entire date and have to go Dutch, they can’t pick you up… and yet they still can’t cook and clean either. They want some kind of traditional marriage where the woman does all the work, yet still brings home 50% of income.
FWIW I never had to ask men out on dates and still had plenty of dates. I also have a wonderful marriage and am not bitter about men. My dh is great. But I look at the next generation (gen z) and really feel for the women. These are the biggest group of lazy losers I’ve seen. Most don’t even have good incomes. |
Well Gen X men and women raised them. |
Mmhmm, yeah sure. Always with the cowardly plausible deniability to preserve the fragile ego. We know. |
|
Lazy? Please. Men these days are doing *far* more parenting and work at home than the generations that came before. It's not even close.
And, in return, women absolutely despise them. |
Is your whole life shaped by pop songs? |
lol dude. |
What song is this? I need to know |
