Poe’s Law strikes again! |
| Short term memory goes first. He may not remember recent events well. |
“All in all, I’d rather be in Philadelphia.” They still played the NCAA basketball final that night - in Philadelphia. I was then a student at one of the colleges in that final. |
That so true. Happened to my dad. Probably also the reason why Trump is so fixated on the 80s. |
Um…he had the photo of his bloody face blown up and framed. And he made world leaders stand in front of it and admire it. He had merch made. He’s not traumatized. |
This is an excellent question. And isn’t there a photo of the intact bullet going past him? |
Agreed. Just another lie and cover up. |
Yes. The records say he has the best ears of any American president in the history of the world. No ears have ever been better than these ears from Queens, NY. |
| The shooter did not fit into the "evil leftist" narrative but was just a generic crazy with a desire to shoot a famous politician, be it Biden or Trump. Had the shooter been politically left wing then Trump would be trumpeting that in every speech. But since he wasn't, dwelling on it raises all these uncomfortable questions about why the US has such a disastrous mental health system. |
| Looks like the left is fully embracing conspiracy mode. I guess it’s an opposition strategy. Hands up don’t shoot Russian agents, because it’s safe and effective. |
| Isn't it strange how the Kirk shooter story dropped off the face of the earth? |
there is also video of the flag on the crane being moved in real time to stand exactly in the right spot for the photo op. |

I've seen multiple clips of Trump referencing how 'they tried to kill me." I don't know what you people are talking about - and for the record, I'm very liberal.
Trump got very lucky that day; Thomas Crooks was a very good shot, especially considering the conditions under which he was shooting - he had just seen a LEO peek over the roofline and knew he had only moments to get his shots off. Trump turned his head and that's why a big chunk wasn't blown off in front of the crowd and millions consuming it on social media. We got detailed briefings about Reagan's condition because he underwent major surgery and spent 12 days in the hospital. I remember it very clearly, including watching the news daily (as my family did anyway) and hearing updates about his condition. It's a huge thing when a president is incapacitated for any length of time. Trump had a quick visit to Butler Memorial's ER to have his graze wound attended to, possibly just by styptic or glue or at most butterfly wound closure strips. This conspiracy theorizing is insulting to the family of the man who died as well as the two others who were wounded by gunfire. It's long past time for us to get past this BS so we can all get serious about gun violence and mental health. https://www.chiefhealthcareexecutive.com/view/pa-hospital-that-treated-donald-trump-after-assassination-attempt-relied-on-preparation-and-focus https://www.cbsnews.com/lifeofthomascrooks/ |
| Maybe he doesn’t remember it |
|
Good grief. He mentions it frequently. Right now, though, there was an active trial and a verdict. It is in the news.
There was no trial for Crooks because he was dead. And, the media has moved on. |
