| Tevas and “camp socks” were a thing when I went to college (university) in Canada 25 years ago. By this point, it doesn’t even register as anything other than a stage the kids will grow out of… unless it’s some kind of ethnic outfit, in which case I don’t really think about it. |

It’s something I don’t like the look of now, but I definitely wore thick wool socks with my Birkenstocks in college
