Anyone else revolted by the socks with sandals trend?

I love it. The more feet are covered, the better

I have a problem with seeing people in socks in general. Even worse with sandals. Totally fine with bare feet.

I got over a major crush once when I saw him wearing Tevas with white socks. Like, over him in an instant. Ugh.

I find it unattractive, and would never do it personally, but revolted would be a strong word.

I love it. Bare feet are disgusting and unhygienic. I love keeping my feet covered and having other peoples feet covered. This took too long to arrive!

I love it. As the wearer, it’s the best of all worlds. Now that I know I have triggered the old biddies, I am going to do it all the time.

Other people’s fashion choices have no impact on me. I don’t waste mental space on that, couldn’t care less.

It just makes me giggle. I associate it with grandpas. So it's cute even though unfashionable.

My teen boys think showing their toes/feet is totally disgusting. They always wear socks with crocs or slides. I think it's kind of funny.

My seventeen year old son hasn’t exposed his toes since elementary school. Tube socks and adidas slides all summer, even working as a camp counselor. None of my business.

My son who's 7 and is weirdly very stylish keeps convincing me that it's the thing to wear his socks with crocs. They're calf socks with stripes at the top. It is SO ugly.

Actually, calf socks look bad on most people too while we're discussing. It makes everyone legs look bad as it cuts off at the fat part of the calf.

I think this is an Asian trend. I feel like Asians, particularly Chinese, have always worn socks with their sandals. I notice a lot of trends coming from Chinese influencers now.

My DS 7 does socks and sandals. Odd to me to consider what a kid is doing as "SO ugly."

My teen plays a sport and for convenience he wears them before/after practices and games so he can easily slide on his sport’s shoes when he gets onsite.

It’s the norm in Europe
