Devastating news. |
What about oversea Asian students? They have way better test score vs white America men(and Asian Americans). |
Mediocre students of any background or race are good at making excuses for their mediocrity. |
You don’t like white women? |
This country is going down the tubes and fast. |
Should colleges “discriminate” against women by letting less-qualified men steal their spots?
|
This. An absolute disgrace. |
Yep! I want to ruin their lives before they’ve even started. Give them a little taste of what facism really looks like. |
You know, we could stop mollycoddling those mediocre white males. Drunk at 18? Referred to the police and kicked out. Date rape a girl? Suspended until cleared by the local PD. Bad grades? Academic probation. Stop tolerating mediocrity. |
White male UVa alum and I agree. |
Very sad day. |
+1 From the article: “This week’s developments make clear: public universities that accept federal funds do not have a license to violate the Constitution,” Megan Redshaw, an attorney at the group, said in a statement. “They do not get to impose ideological loyalty tests, enforce race and sex-based preferences, or defy lawful executive authority.” |
Huh? How does giving a boost to someone purely because of the color of their skin make them "excellent"? Removing DEI means that no one gets in based on their race, but ONLY due to their qualifications. Of course, Democrats are dead set against merit ONLY admissions. Makes sense. |
DP. You're not making any sense. If a TRUE merit system was in place, why would anyone need a boost due to their race? Seems you're the one who's worried that without DEI, fewer minority students will get in. Why is that? Do you think they're not as qualified? |
Exactly! There is zero logic to these ridiculous arguments. If DEI ends, that means students are only admitted based on their qualifications - NOT their race. So you'd think these dopes would be all for it! Instead, they're claiming fewer minorities will be admitted, apparently because they think minorities aren't as qualified? It makes no sense. |
