Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
| Vidalia, The Palm and Komi-but my children are incredibly well behaved unlike most of the uncivilized brats I see everywhere. |
hi DH! |
Well la di da! Isn't that special. Keep wasting your money. |
| Jaleo, Pines of Rome, Franklin's, Hinode, domku, Michael's Noodles. Those are favorites. It is pretty easy to go to any restaurant at their dinner time, which is 5:00-5:30. |
McDonald's poster here. I forgot--I think we have been to panera before! We'd go out more, but we our kids are 18 months, 4 and 5. When it's just the big kids, we have more choices, but if it's all 3 kids, seriously, it's only McDonald's, or sometimes mall foodcourts. |

Ew, you know how bad that is for your kids right? |
| PP...do you think we take our kids there for every meal. Getting something to eat out is few and far between in our house. |

To fellow Silver Springer: I think it's really good. The dining room is no-frills but I think the food is delicious and the margaritas, too.
Plus it's really a local place -- i always run into a few people I know there! |
| Whoops -- meant to say I'm referring to Fajita Coast in the post above. |

LOL! My toddler also loves sitting through the three-hour meal experience at Komi.

| If we're going out with our daughter, it's usually to Austin Grill or Jaleo - and we also do takeout from Lebanese Taverna (rice is too messy for our toddler to eat in public). |
we skip the rice when we are eating there and stick to chicken swarma, hummus, pitas, etc. for DD. we haven't tried Austin Grill recently - will need to try that again... and how is the wait at Jaleo if you go early...I haven't been in forever but remember it took a long time for plates to come out. Not a problem if it's just adults with some sangria in hand, but a little worried about waiting with kids... |
