Boo Hoo Eliminating the 60 million more additional social security numbers than actual citizens As the election fraud gets zeroed in on DOGE needs more security |
| So what can we do about it? |
| This seems to me like the plan really was to destroy the government in the first few weeks. Suppose it’s good that they’ve at least hit hurdles |

These people are frighteningly ignorant and this is exactly why people undergo significant training to work with operations like Social Security.
I knew someone in college whose father was 75 when she was born. Let's suppose she had been born with severe disabilities and was a dependent and her father died. She could very well be receiving SSA benefits as his surviving dependent 150 years after he was born, and it would be under his SS number. They also did not understand that more than one person can receive benefits under the SSN of someone who dies or is disabled and has a widow/er and/or dependent children, so they assumed multiple checks going to multiple people under the same account was fraud. I hadn't thought about the onboarding process at all. Even in mundane jobs with large companies, there can be 1) background and security requirements (e.g. if you are an employee or contractor of an energy company you have to complete FERC training) and 2) active domain management can take longer than you expect, especially if you are supposed to be assigned to domain groups that require specific authorization by specific people). So you have a network person who assigns AD groups who is required to have all those pieces in place before they can go ahead and add you to groups so you can have access to specific software, etc etc. |

The law firms working on at least come of these cases are partnered with organizations you can donate to. If you use the litigation tracker, you can see who the attorney and law firm is, and they may have a donate button which connects to a progressive fundraising organization. Flick's lawyer is from Democracy Forward. You can donate at https://democracyforward.org/ To see the attorney, docket, and other information, you click on the title of the complaint (not the court case number, the actual title) and it will have tabs for all that. I don't have a lot of money to spare (and am also retired so I do have some time) but I have been sending one time contributions to causes actively involved with fighting the administration-the AP, National Security Counselors (Kelly McClanahan below). The big media sources--CNN, NBC, MSNBC, etc--seem to be lax as far as providing case information goes. It would be easy for them to link to the litigation tracker, for example, and identify the case they are referring to. I saw several reports that Kelly McClanahan said after the SOTU speech he was using Trump's "Elon is in charge" statement in the case for which he is the plaintiff's counsel, and it took a lot of poking around to figure out which case in the tracker they were talking about. |
SSNs are never recycled. And there are always active claims based on the SSNs of deceased people. |
Man you’re dumb. Are you able to tie your shoelaces? |
| Has "DOGE" even produced a solitary document, with identifying info redacted, to prove any of their fraud claims? No. |
There's your better thread title. |
Well, she kind of did in the person of Tiffany Flick. Her career seems very Tracy Flick, right up the moment that she was usurped by mediocre white men. |
Anonymous took down X today for some period of time. |
And to allow Trump to weaponize it politically. What Trump is doing to Ukraine is the plan for blue states that don't fall in line. I'm normally pretty level-headed, and I realize this sounds nuts, but I think it's the end game. |
Oh, they're worse than that. Cult members just stick together and commit mass suicide. These people are collaborators who are all too willing to annihilate everyone else in the process. |
| I honestly hope that a major screw-up with SS benefits happens sooner rather than later. |
