Many schools are under the “community” provision so parents do not need to submit an application.

Damn , this is gonna get good. Got emmm

She needs to stay in her lane. Harboring illegals isn’t in her job description.

Dumb

DUMB!!!

How so? The school system is huge and Fairfax County is already a well known sanctuary jurisdiction. How does this add a target on FCPS?

Why do you kids need so many resources? Mine are getting As in AAP classes and doing great.

I just looked at the application and no, you can say you don’t have an SSN. Link to the law.

No one is going into schools to round up KIDS. This is some amazing hysteria, even for Democrats.

Considering the pp doesn't have even a basic understanding of what DEI actuality is can you expect their kids to not need additional resources to keep up.

You're so stupid. First of all, at the rate of 500 deportations a day, it would take us 60 years to deport the people already here, and that doesn't take into account all the people who will continue or overstay their visas.

Also, have you not noticed that no one is picking the for in California right now, in fear of raids? Do you not realize how much our economy depends on migrant labor?

Finally...she feels the need to reassure students because they have the constitutional right to a public education. Yep. The right to it, guaranteed by the 14th amendment. And anyone with half a brain knows that educating everyone is good for all of us. Unless you have an interest in a permanent disempowered underclass, as oligarchs do.

We already have a permanent dis empowered unclass. See: the fruit pickers in your second paragraph.

Anyway, Plyler v Doe is going to be challenged soon.

Having our food supply depend on foreigners is a national security problem.

Having our food supply depend on the exploitation of said foreigners is an ethical problem.

And the fix is to let the food rot? No. The fix should have happened a loooooong time ago, involved the companies and the CEOs of those companies that grow food, and been implemented slowly while ensuring we can still eat.

You are mistaken about why they have the right to the education. Yes. They are legally entitled to an education but it has nothing to do with the Fourteenth Amendment.

Can’t all the Feds without jobs go pick fruit?

Beyond its weird political implications, the phrase is just strange. Parents need clear statements rather than abstract language that’s oddly religious.
