Plenty of MAGA feds live in Hampton Roads, parts of which are almost completely dependent on federal government jobs and money.

Virginia is one of the most dependent on federal employment, and the only way to cut the budget seriously is to cut DOD employment and funds. And if you don't want NATO, you don't really need the massive DOD expenditures anymore.

Trump is bluffing about NATO. He will beef up DoD especially space programs.

Youngkin got in because the alternative option literally said that parents shouldn’t have control over our own kids, and instead the government should be able to do whatever they want to our kids and we should just accept it. If anyone is a POS, it’s not Youngkin.

What am I supposed to have faith in, where this would happen? Are all jobs done presently by federal employees able to be done by contractors? Are contractors immediately hiring? Will there be a period of unemployment where I worry about feeding my kids?

Imagine if Trump and Biden could continue swapping terms until they're over 100 years old because there wasn't a max of two terms in the POTUS eligibility requirements. Youngkin isn't focused on Virginia anymore. He's looking towards a position in the Trump Administration or a Presidential run.
