Doesn’t hurt him one bit.

The public that pays more tax money than they receive is loving the Feds being forced into fiscal reality.

Those are not Youngkin supporters.

Literally every dollar that a federal employee makes is a tax on the American people. Not a single fed pays more in taxes than they receive.

Youngkin supporters are sucking off the teat of NOVA.

I recall many NoVa people voting for Youngkin due to DEI, CRT, and covid restrictions. I wonder how many of these folks now have their jobs on the line.

I wonder too

She doesn’t stand a chance but don’t really think Younkin cares about her? Lol

My Republican relatives in Southern VA hate Sears.

Racists.

Youngkin announced on Monday that Virginia launched a new website, virginiahasjobs.com, to help connect unemployed Virginians with opportunities.

However, many of the job listings the website connects to are for jobs like stockers at Walmart, warehouse workers, and baristas—which pay much less and are less skilled jobs than the medical researchers, accountants, aviation experts, nuclear weapons specialists, and more who were unceremoniously fired by Trump and Musk.”

That's because Youngkin doesn't care.

My Republican relatives there hate her because she's black. They don't vote Republican to vote for black people, just saying.

This kind of thing shows how truly ignorant people are about how government works. You pay taxes for services that you get. You want safe food? You pay people to run the FDA. You want safe airplanes? Pay for FAA. Want social security? You'll have to pay some people to administer that. So when you cut feds, you are cutting the people who are working for you. And the "savings" that come from that? Not going into your pocket. Going to fund tax breaks for the 1%, which is not you. So now, instead of your taxes funding programs that benefit ordinary citizens, your taxes go to make the rich richer.

You're welcome.

Years from now, guys like this will be desperately distancing themselves from when they collaborated with Trump

Meanwhile Youngkin has made a huge mess of education in Virginia with VDOE screwing up one thing after another. And his second head of VDOE just suddenly resigned last week. Who knows why. VDOE has been completely incompetent under his administration and is not equipped to pick up federal DOE responsibilities.

He is terrible. People are sending him emails about supporting DOGE and now disappointed they are in his support for the destruction of our states economy. His response has been that is a federal issue, so contact your congressman or senator. Basically, I have nothing to do with it. That is complete BS you supported this and said it is a great idea so don’t pretend like this is not your problem. He has betrayed our state and should be ashamed of himself.

Ah, okay. Except that DOGE and Musk are hugely unpopular with Rs, Ds, and Is. Trump's foreign policy, economic policy are hugely unpopular with Rs, Ds and Is. His immigration policy is popular but also hugely problematic and will blow back very badly, which is what happens when you skip all the steps that would have helped reduce that.

So, trying to ride on his coattails will get you somewhere, but not where most people want to go.

Don’t worry Virginia farmers, it’s all going to work out when your biggest export markets close you off. Glenn says you can polish up your resume and get a real job, maybe as slave labor at one of the companies his former vulture capital firm bought up and destroyed.

It’s a state that is behind in many respects

For instance, anyone who moves to VA, intends to hold property or marry in VA should look into a

*prenup or a post-nup. * It’s marriage laws are bad for property. It is also bad for families. It’s marriage laws incentivize families to fight over assets and living arrangements for minor children. Look it up.

VA prenup or don’t move here
