Are 11th PSAT scores asked for on college applications?

Why are PSAT scores in the college forum?

Psat only counts for national merit scholarships

I don’t believe students report the psat on common app. It’s a purely optional test - don’t have to take it. Thank you for explaining the index - and formula.

What is the total score needed to get in to the NM scholarships?

Anonymous wrote:DD probably just missed the cutoff for commended with a 1390 and an index of 207. I am fine with it because she already has a 34 on her ACT (35's in math and reading)...so a very good shot at a 35 superscore at the very least (if not a 35 when she retakes it). She knows that the only test that really matters is the ACT or SAT.

Does commended index change much from year to year?

Yea we’re sitting over here with a 940 wondering if college is even an option

10th grade, taking it cold, and has a learning difference - 1330, 98th %ile, 200 index. Quite happy with that for DC. Doing some prep and math brush up before next year’s should help, but the grammar section is always going to sink the RW score, is what it is.

That’s encouraging.
Mine got 1300 (10th)
What did that 1440 number give your DC as a NMSC index number this year PP?
