Across the country, also 1230 in 10th. But verbal score only up 20 points from 8th grade PSAT 8/9 (paper test), which doesn't make sense for this kid. Could be worse I guess, but I had expected a little better.
From what I read about the Oct SAT, feels like the digital test is not super consistent. Makes me wonder about the standardization. |

Next fall. You can look at previous years to get an idea, though. This area is almost always 220+ for semifinalist. |

Someone on reddit posted that they got the same score as last year even though they studied since then.

My daughter got a 1220 last fall in junior year and got a 1530 on the SAT this summer. Don’t worry. |

| DC dropped a bit from 10th grade to 11th but not much. Dropped in reading section. Math the same as 10th. |
