You just sound jealous. (Not OP.)

Who would be jealous of a Disney trip? That kind of trip is my (and probably many others) idea of hell!

If you aren’t envious of OP’s trip, there is no reason you’d think she is “spoiled” for wanting to take it. Your hegthened emotions on this betray your true feelings.

No one is jealous. We do however think OP is a tone deaf idiot.

I don’t think OP is tone deaf. Orlando is quite inland from the storm and rarely gets significant damage from hurricanes. Disney world rarely closes for any extended period of time. It’s totally possible OP could fly to Orlando on Friday and have a normal weekend at the parks. Nobody knows if Orlando is going to get walloped or not.

This was posted in Sunday before Milton was even a full blown hurricane. So check yourself.

So mature calling people names. Try expanding your vocabulary, and maybe the Travel Forum is not for you since you seem annoyed at people discussing travel.

The weather looks completely clear in Orlando after Thursday afternoon.

The weather is the least of your problems. Bring your tent and generator

All of the electrical lines at WDW are underground. I’m not concerned about lack of power.

Seriously. Who in their right mind flies IN to a hurricane?

Who’s talking about flying during the hurricane?

I don’t see anyone talking about trying to fly in on Wednesday.

WDW hasn’t even announced that it’s closing.

+1. OP if you are not schedule to arrive until at least Friday you might be fine. I'd wait and see because any reservations you have are likely to have liberal cancellation policies due to this and there is a chance Orlando could be fine by the weekend. We just don't know yet.

How is this even a question? How would you even get there? Of course cancel.

Tampa airport has already announced that it will be closed Wednesday. I would assume mco too.

Again — no one is talking about flying on Wednesday. The issue is Thursday or Friday.

It's still a Category 2 storm over Orlando. Yeah, Disney will definitely be fine and operating normally by Friday.

This is OP. I posted this Sunday morning when there was first word there could potentially be a storm heading that way. It was not a hurricane, it was not a major storm. Airports were not being closed. We already decided it’s not worth the risk. These other people talking about when they’re flying in are not me. So all you judgey judgersons Who lack the ability to see when this was posted and use common sense, but instead jumped to conclusions – can go shove it.
