Use? the victim wouldn't have done it if she didn't want to amplify her story.

Survivor is a family show?

I have kids of various ages and it is one of the very few shows my teen and 7 year old can watch.

But that childless woman doesn't understand that, does she? Because she's NOT a MOM!!! This is why you need someone who has been a PARENT in the White House. That candidate is President Trump, not her.

Do you think Harris is personally placing the ads?

+1 Trump says so many horrible, offensive things that are definitely not child friendly that it's become like background noise for some people. Smh

Are you new to TV? My kids have had to hear about men’s inability to have sex for decades.

Your daughter is roughly the same age the girl in the video was the first time she was raped. Your vent is uncalled for. Think about what options your daughter would have if some harm would come to her, and she found herself pregnant at 13 yoa.

Haha yes, we don’t watch much tv. I wrote that I have never watched survivor live. I expected the show to be one hour long and be over by 9. My child is not allowed much screen time and probably has never watched live tv before.

Survivor is a family show?

Exactly. Why are you showing a 7-year old Survivor or any reality show?? When my kid was 7, I showed him Curious George.

Harris' ad was appropriate for the show it was airing during.

Your teen should be aware of rape and how to protect herself or himself. And should know that trump is a rapist and what that means and why he is completely inappropriate to be their president.

excuse me but why the heck is your 7 year old child watching survivor with you at 9 pm??? that show is not appropriate and why are you not muting the ads at least? you should expect adult ads to accompany adult programs.

maybe stream something way more appropriate for your young child instead? like wild kratts?

Another false lie, fact checkers state it's not true, trump already said abortion is ok for rape, incest and the life of the mother

This is what I was thinking. OP sounds like the irresponsible one.

This was an effective and necessary message that Americans need to see.

Maybe don't keep your 1st grader up so late at night with you watching your adult shows!

She’s an activist. No one is forcing her to do these ads. By sharing her story she can help other girls and women.

what time was the show?

My 7 yo was in bed at 8, so there wasn’t a conflict.

My DD is usually in bed by 8, asleep by 9. I thought the show would end at 9. I thought it was a 1 hour show.

It is the only live show we have ever watched together. We have football on live on weekends but she isn’t watching.

OP, you did nothing wrong watching a show with your kids. Other posters are just mean and judgmental.

But I agree that this ad is the reality that we are living in due to extreme GOP. We can’t just wish it away.

You made a comment about caring about babies. Are you talking about the babies who were raped by their parents?
