Harris Ad on Survivor on Rape

I was just watching Survivor with my 7 year old daughter and we had to watch a political as on rape and abortion. So instead of being able to watch a family show in peace, my daughter asked what impregnate, abuse and incest was. I’m not sure why this political ad had to he aired on a show for families. End vent.

Harris is just so uncivil and brutal. What a monster. We do not need to be thinking about rape when watching a TV show. Protect babies, that's fine. But the rape thing--no thanks.

If the GOP hasn't repealed Roe and put women in a position to fight for their rights, the commercial would not have been necessary. Why is a 7 year old watching survivor? Shouldn't she be in bed on a school night?

I have kids of various ages and it is one of the very few shows my teen and 7 year old can watch.

This ad actually made me not want to vote for Harris. Had the opposite effect for me.

But that childless woman doesn't understand that, does she? Because she's NOT a MOM!!! This is why you need someone who has been a PARENT in the White House. That candidate is President Trump, not her.

You seem more upset about the ad than the fact that hundreds of child rape victims will be forced to carry their rapists baby because of Trump's court and overturning of Roe.

It’s not scoring political points. It’s not a scare tactic. It is a very real fact that SCOTUS overturned Roe v Wade and now rape victims, incest victims, women needing abortions to survive and every other woman who needs one cannot access them.

Keep in mind the age girls are menstruating is going down. So perhaps teaching kids about this at 7-8 instead of 10 is not a bad thing.

what time was the show?

My 7 yo was in bed at 8, so there wasn’t a conflict.
