Lots of buildings with hospital in the middle. Lots of kids wandering but didnt see much interaction. School traditions tour guide talked about were kind of lame. Yet, the Emory quality of life ratings are high, so not sure what that is based on. That's why I am interested in learning about social life experience and what kids do socially outside of class and school clubs. Is greek life active?

Someone asked our Emory tour guide what the school did to build spirit and her example was having food trucks on campus. She also said students there like to celebrate their inner nerd. This combo was enough to turn my kid off the school, beautiful, if quiet, campus tho.

This, why visit a school you don't like. I would be surprised if there was a deeper reason she doesn't want like said schools but using school spirit as a veil.

The hospital isn’t remotely in the middle of campus. It’s literally adjacent to campus on the edge of it.

Greek life is fairly prominent…which might be a turnoff for some.

These comments are so strange, kids visit schools to see if they are a good fit. Perfectly normal to realize a school is a bad fit after a visit. Not every school is a good fit for every kid.
