This. The relationship forum is BY FAR the worst. Entertainment is usually light and consists of dozens of posts of random celebrity outfits most of the time. It's intentionally vapid. Relationships is where women degrade each other for personal, private decisions and top it off with all the reasons why a) DH is cheating; b) you're going to be left; and c) you are ruining your children's lives. Private School and College Univ brings out the best of DC elitism. |

The relationships forum is unhinged. Every time there’s a woman with a problem, some man or some pick me comes on to monologue about how it’s all her fault, how it’s her fault it happened in the first place, what did she do to contribute to the problem, blah blah blah. And I also think there are a lot of trolls and fake scenarios and sock-puppeting.
I picture all the massively over the top haters in the Entertainment forum - the people who can get a thread about the damn Kane show/Your Morning Show/whatever it’s called to hundreds of pages! Who even listens to regular radio anymore?! - as all Martha from Baby Reindeer. Not enough going on in their real lives for sure. |

She still pops up every once in awhile and still refuses to understand that the school cutoff in the entire US apart from New York and the NYC suburbs is anywhere between 7/31-9/30. And when someone mentions holding back their July-September birthday kid she shows up like clockwork to say “that kid is in the middle of their class why would you do that.”

I find the family relationships forum depressing in terms of how cold posters are to family (of origin) and ready to cut them out of their lives for any perceived slight.
I don’t visit even half the forums, but all of them occasionally have nasty threads. The political forum is a whole other thing. |

and speaking of - i think the pets forum is the most unhinged one that i ever pay any attention to i don't know which is meanest. they are all mean and fun/helpful in equal measure, that i've noticed. |
