Meanest DCUM Forum

What do you think is the cattiest, meanest and most classic DCUM forum? I don't know if its just an off week, but Beauty and Fashion has had some exceptionally mean posts this week.

I think there are an influx of new members/trolls because the level of meanness has increased noticeably across most of the boards. This is why we can't have nice things.

Oh no, I think Beauty and Fashion and Home Improvement are so helpful! Sometimes people are mean, it’s the internet, but mainly you get really helpful answers.

Political can get pretty heated but I guess that's the point.

School forums can be pretty nasty too. Specifically Montgomery County as that is the one I check but I would have to imagine the others are similar.

I have seen mean posts all over. It's the "kick a puppy" reflex of unhappy people all over the internet. If someone does it to me, I don't respond. It's likely just a handful of people behaving that way.

The politics forum is infested with truly extreme LWNJs. Even Jeff has said it’s a disaster.

Soccer got so crazy that at one point you could only post if you were a registered user. Things calmed down a lot and Jeff lifted that restriction, but time will tell if it spirals out again.

Sometimes it's just one troll out trolling that stinks up the whole place as they tirade on forum after forum. Report those suckers and keep DCUM helpful.

+1 because recently I've seen a lot of posts that are not merely mean (always present on dcum) but also seemingly intentionally misunderstanding whoever they are attacking. It's a more subtle form of trolling than you usually see on dcum and more effective too -- posters think they are engaged in a good faith back and forth but the other person has just misunderstood something. So they clarify and then the troll knows they have their hooks in and can really go on the offensive. I have been snagged by a couple of these in the General Parenting and Relationships forum and ultimately the only way to stop them is to leave the thread entirely or (if you are the OP) ask to have it deleted. Even if you just try to stop engaging with that specific poster they will continue to hound you.

I also see this in Entertainment especially in threads about female celebs.

What? No way. Outside of the royals threads, Entertainment is a welcome respite to the bickering in other forums, especially the ones dedicated to schools.
