And what has Israel demonstrated from the moment it was established? They could have chosen to live among the Palestinians and share the land. Instead they chose theft and murder. Why would anyone living there find that acceptable? What reason has Israel given these people to trust them as their neighbors?

If they were killed and brutally oppressed on a daily basis, then yes. People talk about Israel’s right to defend itself. But how about Palestinians’ right to themselves from brutal occupation? Double standard from the west.

Absolutely. America's reckoning with its own imperial past is coming. You can only kick the can so far down the road before you acknowledge that this country was founded on genocide and slavery and the descendants of those people are owed some serious reparations.
