The best way to support DEI is to reduce the cost of tuition. I wonder where universities can save money that could be out towards financial aid. Hmmm... |
What has that got to do with this university? How much more diversity do you need? |
Are you stupid or are you dumb? The purpose of the DEI is not to create diversity through admissions, but to support students who attend the college and the college as a whole in making it a more tolerable place for everyone, not just white people and their allies who actively mistreat and disrespect minorities is public and in private, for example this board. |
^^^ purpose of the DEI office* |
100 jobs on the UT Austin campus. |
Sadly none of these departments do anything to support Jewish students on campus particularly in the colleges in the northeast. |
How…. Inclusive of them. |
It’s a jobs program for otherwise unemployable people. Good riddance. |
NP. I am a bit surprised because at institutions like UT, the DEI offices are used as a means to keep the grad students and adjuncts from unionizing. I always thought that the real purpose of the office was to protect administrators from looking at deeply anti-labor practices on the campuses. |
Ok so we will have DEI administrators but minority students will pay the entire cost of them and white students will pay zero towards them. How many DEI administrators do you want now? Or you only want it if other people (who don’t benefit at all from it) pay for it? |
+100 Finally, the pendulum is swinging back to normalcy and sanity. |
Exactly. Overpaid clowns who waste scarce institutional resources. |
2022 = Woke
2023 = CRT 2024 = DEI White boys won't give up the privilege. |
+1000. The pendulum is starting to swing in the right direction. |
Virginia should be looking at the value it receives from the DEI programs at its public universities. Looks like UVA is spending a lot on DEI.
