Question about skimpy bikinis

I dont assume anything about her sex life. I don't think a bikini makes you more open in bed. You could like to show off your body and still be very vanilla.

Very very true. I'm not one to show off at the pool - rather insecure about the extra squishiness - but by the time I'm comfortable enough with a guy to have sex I'm comfortable enough to be who I am in bed. I wasn't always this way - I matured into it. I'm sex positive and body positive with - dum dum duuuum - the person I'm safe with. And those aren't the random people at the pool.

I’m from Miami, where pretty much everyone wears small bikinis (young, old, skinny, or fat) so it doesn’t mean anything and nobody cares. But here there seem to be a lot more rules about when and where you’re “allowed” to wear a bikini - like only if you’re on a couples vacation with your spouse and never at the community pool or else you’re attention-needy, and only if you are not fat.

I noticed that so many women are wearing swimsuits that show a lot of skin and leave little to the imagination. But based on these responses, it sounds like a person dressing “sexy” does not necessarily mean they are trying to attract others or are more “sexual”. It could be they just like looking good and feel comfortable showing a lot of skin.

What does being an immigrant have to do with being a total f**king creeper and ogling women and then debating their sexual habits?

Op where are you from buddy? I’m picturing you in the crowd here: https://youtu.be/-72kdmskkV4?si=FjEcyCER42kSQaFW
Americans find it dangerous and creepy to ogle women while they are relaxing

Just came back from there. Almost every woman is in a thong or close to a thong. Size and age doesn't matter

DP here: Miami has been that way for decades.

The difference now is that "good Christian" Becky's from NYC, SEC sororities, and the Midwest are wearing these ultra-skimpy bikinis. Instrgram and TikTok normalized it. Even moms with kids are wearing thongs on their beach vacation to Mexico.

Of course, they won't wear this to the pool club in Bethesda or Falls Church.

The reason they aren’t wearing them is that they aren’t allowed not because they don’t want to.

We belong to a pretty $$$ club and I wear bikinis . They dont allow thongs.

OP here. I’m actually a heterosexual woman and I’m surprised at the hostility I’m getting from some of these PPs. I asked a simple question. There was no malicious intent, just curiosity!

I can still wear a skimpy bikini but I never wear it at our swim club, only at an uncrowned beach. I don’t want the attention but I do like the tan. Am I hot in bed? You’d have to ask my husband but I’m pretty sure he’d say I do just fine.

I’d guedd that she at least likes her body enough to let it be seen. That means you probably won’t be having lights out only sex. Thats not saying she won’t be a starfish but at least you’ll get to see her! Honestly, the best perdon I ever slept with was a skinpy bikini person. Not just because of how she looked but because of how out of her mind she got when she was worked up. Also, she wanted to make sure you were happy in bed too.

Hi OP. Guy here. I think tjey’re usually more in tune with what makes guys tick. So, I’m generalizing a bit but I’d say they’re more likely to be good in bed.

Our experience has been women sporting micro-bikini's and the like are more often lifestyles looking to attract other likeminded people. We have found some of these people are attention seekers, and enjoy to parade around in skimpy or sheer swimwear. I don't think wearing such swimwear has anything to do with being sex positive. My husband and I are nudists, and live a fulfilling sex life. We have found that women wearing skimpy swimwear often have confidence issues, and they feel empowered when wearing these outfits. We've seen women such as these at lifestyle events wearing skimpy lingerie outfits for much the same reason. Again, my husband and I would often be naked at these lifestyle events whereas many of these women are seeking wearing some sort of skimpy attire as they don't have the confidence to be seen naked.

This type of clothing doesn’t even look comfortable. I will have a one night stand with a woman wearing such attire, but I will neither date her nor marry her. I’m all for freedom of expression with the type of clothing that you like, but my personal preference is not to be involved with anything long term with someone who has no problem exposing their entire body to the whole world. In some cases you can even see the vagina in plain view crazy.

Guy here - some of the best sex I’ve ever had was with women who would not look good in a bikini. It’s not all about looks!
