Let’s see who wins this first big battle…. ECNL or the Loudoun “CEO”

If the Loudoun “CEO” wins they will go MLS Next and if they stay in ECNL that means he lost his first big battle as a CEO.

I hope the Loudoun CEO wins and gets MLS Next!

Ever heard of PDA, FC Delco? Both were removed from ECNL for boys because their first team was in MLS next.

You don't understand the greatness of loudon soccer. I heard the DC United was going to relinquish their academy in favor of Loudon

Or put top Loudoun only team in MLS Next and then have NVA for ECNL?
Or just drop NVA and ECNL ?
I’m confused

Isn't MLS Next only for the boys side? I'm confused too. If that's still the case (I don't have male soccer players so don't keep up with the boys side) can LS keep ECNL on the girls side?

ECNL is a club membership. Either you field all teams or you leave

False. There are clubs with boys playing MLS Next and girls playing ECNL.

Correct but those clubs are founding members of MLS NEXT and ECNL. Loudoun Soccer is not a founding member of any league.

They should just do MLS NEXT and GA.

Founding members? Doesn't matter. They will work it out if they want to do so. I am pretty sure this is only an ECNL concern. MLS Next will not care one bit if Loudoun/NVA wants to put girls in ECNL.

The Loudoun Soccer "CEO" will earn his paycheck if he can pull it off!

Let's see what happens. When is this expected to be announced?

Yes they are going to MLS next and the girls are going to GA. ECNL won't allow 2nd teams.

ECNL will take second teams if the club's first team is also in ECNL. Some of the North Carolina clubs do this on the boys side. It's been a bit of a bone of contention with some Arlington parents that the club won't make any attempt to put its second (Red) teams in ECNL.
