Thank goodness she is safe.

I hope these guys get charged with kidnapping and child abuse, and get put away for a long time.

Thank goodness. The parents must be so relieved. Right before Epiphany too.

What does Epiphany have to do with this story?

Epiphany (Jan 6) is when the three kings arrived in Bethlehem and gave gifts to the infant Jesus. It would be particularly heartbreaking if this family was broken up at that time. Instead, they can all go home together. Maybe have a slice of King's cake.

Sorry, sometimes one's cultural and religious roots come out.

Oh lord.

DP. What the PP said is basically like saying "The parents must be so relieved. Right before Christmas too." Everyone would understand the sentiment.

Well in some cultures, Christmas is celebrated on January 6, the Epiphany. And even in some cultures that celebrate December 25, the Epiphany is a bigger deal when families would gather and presents would be given to children.

The jeep is a rental, maybe that is why the adult was iffy on the plate, besides the trauma.

When I was in SF, we were warned that rental cars were more targeted by thieves for robberies and carjackings.

So I guess, put the baby in, relock doors, walk around the car, unlock door and get in is the new plan.

I was thinking of a demo outside USAO.

I fully agree and our *$$hole councilmembers should organize..if not we should and shame the ALL of them. This is obscene.

Sounds like these guys are on the loose joyriding in the jeep? At our councilmembers safety walk the USAO representative told us they can't charge carjackers cos when four sets of prints are found they don't know who the jacker was.. COMPLETE IMPUNITY and zero solutions offered.

I think not if they didn’t leave DC.

This is when we need to pull video from every traffic camera, bring in the dogs and helicopters, and find these guys. They need to be put away for a very long time.

This happened at 6 pm? No curfew is going to fix this.

Come to the Cleveland Park Library on 1/17 and tell Frumin and Schwalb what you think of their amazing work. They are going to leave their home in the safest part of town for a few hours to come “listen” to us.

I also want to know why Amber alerts don't seem to be going out in DC.

Good luck fixing the thousands of poor, broken, single parent households in DC that can’t or won’t control their sons

Also, good luck reversing the current trend of people being told they aren’t accountable for their own behavior and politicians siding with the perpetrators of crime over the victims.

It’s a bold new era of “social justice” and oddly enough it’s causing a spike in crime.

THE tweet says the carjackers left a note with the baby saying she was from georgetown.

That really seems like laziness. If a link is found between all the suspects, clearly they all carjacked together.

Seems like at least one has a tie to that house.

Glad they left the baby somewhere safe.
