In similar situations I can think of the perp just getting out and leaving the car w/in blocks, or another where they took a baby to an assisted living type place. Usually it's very soon. Maybe the baby is sleeping and they don't know she is there?

A lot of times when teens/thieves steal cars they end up crashing, so many ways this could go wrong.

Wish they would put out an Amber Alert and put the plate up on 66, and other overhead signs.

This is so F*cked Up..it's time for Congress to act..it's time for us to act. Is anyone ready to demonstrate? I'm ready to express myself.

I saw it on Next Door as an emergency alert by MPD but did not hear an alert on radio before getting home. Amber Alerts have a lot of rules to issue, I dunno.

So happy for this little one and her family. Her parents just lived through the longest hour of their lives. Poor thing, hope she wasn't scared.

Thank goodness. The parents must be so relieved. Right before Epiphany too.

I was thinking of a demo outside USAO.

I see the baby has been found, but the answer is a fire station or a hospital.

Come to the Cleveland Park Library on 1/17 and tell Frumin and Schwalb what you think of their amazing work. They are going to leave their home in the safest part of town for a few hours to come “listen” to us.

What does Epiphany have to do with this story?

Epiphany (Jan 6) is when the three kings arrived in Bethlehem and gave gifts to the infant Jesus. It would be particularly heartbreaking if this family was broken up at that time. Instead, they can all go home together. Maybe have a slice of King's cake.

Sorry, sometimes one's cultural and religious roots come out.

The baby was left in the car seat on a street in SE but the car is still missing. Curious about where/with who?

Thank goodness she is safe.
