5% of young adults are transgender or non-binary, so there's a decent chance there are some at every high school in the county:

It isn’t. This is a phantom menace.

That it’s Woodgrove is all you need to know. A bunch of performative shitheads with right-wing parents co-opting the actions of students with actual valid concerns (the walkout.)

I know their families. Most of them were at the Stop the Steal rallies before Jan 6

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - A student in Loudoun County is facing accusations in two sex assaults at two different high schools, prompting questions about why he was transferred to another school after the first arrest.

At Tuesday’s school board meeting, parent after parent excoriated board members, accusing them of covering up the first crime. But it wasn’t the school board who made decisions in the case.

The male student, then 14, was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy after an alleged attack on a female student at Stone Bridge High School in May.

The teen was arrested in July. Parents and the community were not alerted of the arrest.

Your little social experiments are failing. People are pissed off by the idiocy going on, and rightfully so.

DP. That boy was NOT transgender. And the sheriff's office should be sharing some of the blame for that entire mess, too...as well as LCPS. Huge fail all around, as far as I'm concerned.
But, once again, he wasn't transgender.

I know lots of nonbinary young people who are biologically female. None of them are using the male locker rooms. The boys can rest easy.

I just can’t believe that what that kid is complaining about is actually a thing. I think most of the trans kids change in solitary spaces and the many biologically female kids who identify as fluid all just change with the girls. No trans kid is dying to go into a boys locker room.

I don’t think it is actually a trans students who are going o to locker rooms. I think it is probably a bold girl or two who are exploiting the loophole. They know they can’t get in trouble if they claim they are non-binary.

Of course they are! Trans girls change with the other girls. Do you think they’d be safe in the boys’ bathroom? It’s called harm reduction and respect.

Actually it sounds like these people are protesting the policy and not an actual even that ever occurred at their school. If they actually had a trans girl changing with them they'd be talking about some specific incident and kid. The fact that they aren't doing that speaks volumes. Also, do kids actually shower after PE? They didn't even do that when i was in PE in the 90's.

If people want to make a stalled gender neutral locker room for kids that don't identify as their assigned gender at birth, then I'd say the schools should go for it. I'm sure trans and nonbinary kids would feel a lot more comfortable like that.

Why can’t these kids protest the policy? I thought a peaceful protest to show your feelings on matter was acceptable.

What a truly messed up generation of kids we’ve allowed

They're stating this atrocious new policy is an invasion of their right to modesty. If the idiot school board members and their best pal Buta Biberaj want to parade their fat asses in the same locker rooms as members of the opposite sex, that's their business. The fact they're forcing KIDS to share locker rooms with peers of the opposite sex is appalling. APPALLING.

I am not against the rights of transgender kids. But why not be reasonable, and set up separate bathrooms and locker rooms for transgender students?

I honestly don't understand what the issue is- don't the kids just go in a stall with a lockable door to change/shower/use the toilet? Why is it an issue if there is a coed shared hallway/handwash area?

Most toilet stalls don't have doors in high school restrooms.

Does it matter if it’s happened? They are protesting the policy. Kids at my child’s VA middle school had a walk out to protest the “don’t say gay” law in Florida. They were protesting a law/policy, not an event, snd it was in another state. But my son, at his arlington middle school, saw “non-binary” females use boys bathroom. You know, bathrooms where boys stand and pee in a urinal without a door. Not hypothetical. The kids would say “oh, I just use the boys bathroom.” My son tried to use the bathroom at off times & always go in a stall. What middle school boy wants a female to see him peeing?

I think private individual places for transgender kids to use the bathroom & change are safest and most comfortable for everyone. Ideally, everyone would have this option.

It's ABC WJLA 7. Are you going to attack every media outlet you don't agree with?

All the terf ones

Always good to see the misogyny when the mask drops.

Don't conflate women with bigots.

Interesting that you admit that you attack news outlets and use slurs for people who disagree with you. Are you trolling or just lack critical thinking?

Woodgrove students always protest things like this that they don’t even deal with. They walked out in support of gun rights after the parkland shooting in 2018. Of course they’re protesting about this despite not one trans student at Woodgrove using the other gender’s locker room. It’s simply not happening in great numbers anywhere but definitely not at Woodgrove at all.
