It isn’t. This is a phantom menace.

That it’s Woodgrove is all you need to know. A bunch of performative shitheads with right-wing parents co-opting the actions of students with actual valid concerns (the walkout.)

I know their families. Most of them were at the Stop the Steal rallies before Jan 6

Your little social experiments are failing. People are pissed off by the idiocy going on, and rightfully so.

DP. That boy was NOT transgender. And the sheriff's office should be sharing some of the blame for that entire mess, too...as well as LCPS. Huge fail all around, as far as I'm concerned.
But, once again, he wasn't transgender.

But the right wing nut jobs repeat this refrain constantly. They are the ones who believe if they keep repeating a lie, people will believe it.

Of course they’re protesting about this despite not one trans student at Woodgrove using the other gender’s locker room. It’s simply not happening in great numbers anywhere but definitely not at Woodgrove at all.

Wow. That’s insane.

This group isn't representative of Woodgrove. Most students do not agree with them. Just like the nutjobs who constantly attack the school board, it's a small number being influenced by the crazies.

They're stating this atrocious new policy is an invasion of their right to modesty. If the idiot school board members and their best pal Buta Biberaj want to parade their fat asses in the same locker rooms as members of the opposite sex, that's their business. The fact they're forcing KIDS to share locker rooms with peers of the opposite sex is appalling. APPALLING.

I am not against the rights of transgender kids. But why not be reasonable, and set up separate bathrooms and locker rooms for transgender students?

I honestly don't understand what the issue is- don't the kids just go in a stall with a lockable door to change/shower/use the toilet? Why is it an issue if there is a coed shared hallway/handwash area?

Most toilet stalls don't have doors in high school restrooms.

BS. You are wrong and just trying to stir things up.

Good for these kids for exercising their rights and showing that differences of opinion is ok and a fundamental right.

Personally I cant even believe this is a thing but here we are in 2023 saying that you can choose which bathroom to use.

None of us have a problem with kids speaking up. The problem is they are lying about what is going on. They have an anti-trans, LBGTQ agenda and will make up things to get attention.

The repugnicans are all about the Big Lie. Walter Langer described this in 1943 when describing Hitler.

"His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it."

Sure, and the next time your wife wants to change into her gym clothes before leaving work let’s invite all the men from the office to watch,ok?

Sure, she can go into the bathroom, close the door and change.
But of course, do treat women like something that needs to be protected, like we need men's guidance and protection.

NP. Women generally do need protection from being victimized by men, and if you think otherwise you’re kidding yourself

Note this 2021 article goes into malicious tactics employed by LC school board members, and overseen by commonwealth attorney Biberaj. They began to (secretly) gather information on Loudoun parents who vocally disagreed with their fringe agenda. Some of their tactics included stalking their targeted individuals, spying on them, gathering information such as names of their employers, who their kids were, etc. Really invasive stuff. Very inappropriate behavior.

This is genuinely crazy, inappropriate, demented behavior. These are the same folks who are trying to force inappropriate change in Loudoun schools.

More lies, you lying liar. I belonged to that FaceBook group. It is a huge group and only a tiny number of members were involved in a discussion that offended you so much. Biberaj and the other politicians are mostly uninvolved in anything there. It was a huge group and none of the politicians were actually involved in the short discussion that you love to exaggerate. A small number of posters wanted to share which businesses were run by right wing nut jobs so we could avoid them. One poster suggested more, but nothing was ever done. It was one comment with only a few group members participating. Your comment "Some of their tactics included stalking their targeted individuals, spying on them, gathering information such as names of their employers, who their kids were, etc. Really invasive stuff. Very inappropriate behavior. " actually describes things the right wing nut jobs had been doing to the vocal democrats. No one was spying on anyone. You are completely lying about the group going after kids. As far as the stuff about employers, if you publicly post racist comments, people are going to report you to whomever they can. If you want to discuss the actual comments from some of the leaders of the rwnjs, we can.

We’re all around you, sweetie.

Incorrect. The school system is filled with magas. Loudoun County is not filled with Magas. They want you to think that because the right, knows they've lost Loudoun.

Btw, you are gross and a misogynist.

Sweetie, it was a public Facebook group. The right wing perfected enemies lists and doxxing and harassment — that goes all the way back to Nixon and probably before.

Biberaj is going to be reelected on Tuesday, you know, and the would-be Moms for Liberty book burning types are going to be stunned by their losing margins.

I agree with you but am offended by your sexist, misogynistic language. You are doing a disservice to those of us fighting these crazies.

Yes, which is why it needs to be called out as the lie that it is, every single time. Do not let them get away with that. Fact of the matter is that the rape/assaults that took place were bad enough to begin with, handled very poorly by both the school board AND the sheriff’s office (although no one seems to want to talk about the sheriff’s dept role in it, because he’s a Republican), and yet, the Republicans never would have picked this up as a “cause”…essentially a campaign issue for them, without the fact that they could spin it as a trans kid, because the boy wore a skirt on occasion. Skirt =/= trans.

I vote D on national and statewide politics but I'm voting R for school board and county supervisor because I'm done with all this nonsense. I want to move my kids to private but they are teens now and don't want to go.

We had an excellent, involved, independent school board member replaced by a lady endorsed by the Republican party. Unlike our former representative, she’s made little to no effort to involve herself in the schools in her district and actually get to know them. I haven’t seen her at a single event. Communication with her constituents appears to me to be very poor. Such a huge step down in my book.
Fortunately, it doesn’t appear that she’s running again. I do wonder why, though.
