Does anyone follow Dr. Peter Attia?

I’ve read his book halfway through.
Some good ideas there but low dosing on metformin didn’t do much for me.
His fixation on longevity does seem a bit pathetic (I don’t like ppl who are full of themselves) but otherwise why not listen to his professional ideas?

What??
He's a pedo.

Dr. Peter Attia was friends with Epstein and exchanged numerous emails?
Oh look, according to Peter Attia MD “pussy is low carb” something that is totally normal for a doctor to say to Epstein, who had previously been convicted of procuring a child for prostitution

Dr. Peter Attia. He has a friend. He has a friend but he can’t TELL THE WORLD he has a friend, JUST BECAUSE HIS FRIEND IS A FAMOUS CHILD RAPIST. He’s SUFFERING. And that’s BEFORE he went to work for Bari Weiss.

When you say you love Dr A by all means tell the world you support Pedos.

Because he didn’t even finish his residency for one.

His book had a lot of useful but not original advice like that exercise is good for you (yes duh, but he gives helpful, understandable info as to why it is so good for you not just weight loss). It also had some less supported advice like his fixation on Zone 2 training and giving statins based on metrics that haven't been clinically validated. He also promoted a type of healthcare that is very expensive and inaccessible to most. It always seemed like there was something off about him but I was still shocked when I saw the Epstein messages. To me this is a clear sign that I should stop paying attention to him, not just because I don't want to funnel any money towards him but also because my concerns about his general judgement that I had when reading his book are now more validated.

He is in the Epstein files and I read he did not visit his newborn in the ICU and visited Epstein instead.

Many people think he is crazy.

I just unsubscribed. Yuck. Bet Nora Roberts wishes she hadn’t done that segment with him

I would be surprised if he actually engaged in anything but emailing thousands of times with unknown trafficker of young teens shows serious lack of character. The cases that he was aware of involved very young teenagers like 14, and that should've crossed a line for him. He was laughing that off in his emails.

I'm pretty disappointed. I expected more of him.

I find his YouTube videos etc kind of irritating. A lot of blah blah blah about science and theory but then nothing actionable along the lines of “here’s what to do”.

I don’t care about the Epstein stuff unless it’s involving children. Didn’t Bill Gates give his wife an STD? I don’t need to know any of this crap.

Strange comment… the whole debacle around Epstein and why everything is such a big deal is because it INVOLVED CHILDREN.

After I saw this, I knew I couldn't follow anything he said. What kind of person chooses to stay at a "business meeting" while their 1 month old had just been resuscitated and was in the ICU? Not someone I would take any advice from.

Yes, Epstein involved children. He also involved adult women. Just because someone interacted with Epstein doesn’t mean they had anything to do with children. It does mean they are gross and show no judgment.

But I would tell my sister (who was the one who told me about him) that he seemed a little crazy. Good at presenting himself as reasonable but would go all in on wellness/health span stuff to a level that seemed unhealthy

The Epstein stuff is disappointing, but not entirely surprising. Definitely something off about him - of only based on the sheer amount of time he spends on fitness stuff for himself - not normal for a husband and a father. I don't mean it's bad to spend time on yourself, that is good, but there is a point where it is just way too much and quite selfish.

But if that is his job, why is it too much? If he is making a living with this as many of these people do he would spend many hours making it work. It would not be a 9-5 job. It would be the hours of a entrepreneur.

He isn't making any money during his 4-6 hours of cardio 3-4 hours of strength and 1 hour of stability training per week. He makes money from treating patients, book sales and his podcast. He is not a professional athlete.

He's also not a doctor, so don't refer to his clients as patients.

No way. He is a pedo and disgusting. He should lose his license.
