New shooting, 5-7 shots, at least one person shot and taken to the hospital. Again. In the middle of the day.
This was at the different public housing, by Madison & Montgomery. It's been pretty quiet there lately.
It happened around the corner, literally in front of Lost Dog Cafe. Person was shot several times, there were multiple witnesses, in a VERY busy area. Several shooters, masked. This is basically the same area. And at like 2pm on a Saturday. I can’t understand why people try to dismiss this kind of stuff. So just stop. https://www.alxnow.com/2023/07/22/new-one-fighting-for-life-after-daytime-shooting-in-braddock-alley/ BUT we can get more technical, because last weekend 2 juveniles were arrested for robbing someone at gunpoint on that pathway between the Braddock Road metro and King Street metro. I had heard they were 14 yrs old. One was arrested at West and Wythe (is that close enough for Andrew Ankins for you?) and the other off of Cook Street near OTSFD. 14 yr olds, with a gun, robbing people at 11pm. You ok with that? https://www.alxnow.com/2023/07/17/juveniles-arrested-after-armed-robbery-at-metro-linear-park-in-old-town/
Five shootings associated with Andrew Adkins Projects. Armed robbery associated with Adkins and Ruby Tucker Projects. Latest shooting associated with Samuel Madden Projects. Clearly the pattern and cause is a lack of BBQs with Alexandria police. If anything were happening at all. Which it’s not.
Vote with your feet. It's time to move, let Alexandria fully become everything they have dreamed of becoming. Let them reap what they sow.
