Where are you that it was only 160 this morning?

It wasn't, unless they were out at 5am. They got misled by an out of date report.

5 am is prime time for morning runners.

Walk outside and decide. This is ridiculous. It is horrible. I went out with a mask to plant a few things and my eyes and throat are burning. I smell like wood smoke. I've lived here 40 years and have never seen it this bad.

Mine says 230 right now. McLean/Arlington.

Arlington says 166 right now on app. The link at the top of this thread is 260.

That cannot possibly be right, PP. The entire DC region is at more than 201 (code red), with a small pocket at 313 between Alexandria and Springfield (code maroon). 166 is underestimated by a 100 points.

Where I am in Bethesda my iPhone weather app says 273.

Use your Apple/phone app, way more reliable than weather.com (which relies on ads)

It's very consistent. Ignore the green ozone numbers.

We were 350-over 400 around Ashburn at 8:20 this morning. Who had 160?

That person is lying, stupid or needs an iPhone update.

I’m outside of Baltimore and we were 350ish this morning. Definitely not going for a run like one PP….

That's a bit what I was thinking.

I'm also in Ashburn and beginning to think I need to upgrade my windows because I can smell it inside my house.

Anyone recommend someone who does apocalypse style windows?

I have a little pain under my left collarbone. Is this because of the air quality?

I was just wondering the same thing. Chuck Bell keeps saying code red, but Arlingtonalert says code purple.

We have a pocket of really bad air heading south because of the wind. AQI may get into the hazardous range for some. Doesn't matter if you have a Code Red, Purple, Maroon, or whatever. Stay indoors.

Good news is that this will be gone by Saturday.

Sat thats a long time!!!
