I think it’s a totally fair question (not a “gotcha” by any means) and would tell us a lot about that person. It would be particularly relevant with Haley, given her experience with the South Carolina state flag.

You do know she *removed* the Confederate flag from the SC capitol building - right?

What do you want, a cookie? Sorry, you don't credit for that.

I don’t get credit for that - SHE gets credit for that. Sorry that triggers you, but she was the only SC governor to remove that flag. Good for her.

Of course they would have and in fact, most of the southern people would still support or.

Not the slavery part but the independence part.

We dream of being out from under the federal boot.

Racist. And don't even bother talking about "heritage" as the confederacy only lasted 4 years. Hell man, even the show South Park has lasted six times longer than the confederacy did. Time to get a grip and move on, lost causers!

She literally said the world should acquiesce to Putin; she said the trans issue is the single biggest issue facing women (i mean, we are talking about fewer than 20 gender affirming procedures NATIONALLY per year) - I think *most* women would think managing the bodies is the single biggest issue facing women.

At one point, I thought she was an effective governor and had a future on the national stage. But it is clear she is no where ready fr prime time and her views are too extreme to the right for this moderate voter.

This is a mentally ill lie. There are THOUSANDS of such procedures documented by insurance each year and many more that aren’t documented because they’re out of pocket. You don’t help progressive causes when you tell easily disprovable lies like these. If what is going on is good, then you shouldn’t need to lie about it.

I will give her credit for that. I think it's great she did that. The problem is she comes off like such a phony baloney about so much other stuff.

Of course they would have and in fact, most of the southern people would still support or.

Not the slavery part but the independence part.

We dream of being out from under the federal boot.

Don't tempt us with a good time! The feeling is mutual outside of the South.

This article speaks to the numbers of minors who take puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery. https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-transyouth-data/

This speaks to the frequency in the trans community. https://tau.amegroups.com/article/view/25593/24252 Most surgeries are "top surgeries" not genital surgeries. Transgender men are more likely to have undergone surgery, probably b/c the presence of breasts is more obvious than the status downstairs.

Mt. Sinai Hospital says they are a leader in this field and they perform several hundred per year. https://www.mountsinai.org/locations/center-transgender-medicine-surgery/care/surgery So, there probably are several thousand surgeries per year in the US. But, see previous link to those involving minors.
