And it was a shell of its former self for about 5-10 years before it closed. You'd have to pick five beers off the menu before finding one they had in stock, and the food became a horror show. |
I also worked there, and: this. They meant well (I guess) but it was just terribly run. Which was too bad, because we got the most interesting cross-section of people: LGBT, grad students, people from the embassies, and barflys. It was a mood. |

| Well this makes me sad. I lived in Dupont Circle right after college graduation in the early 2000s. It was awesome, as were so many other neighborhoods. |
