Why do we not do anything to lock down the border? Mexican cartels are worse than ISIS. I’ve seen the ISIS videos and the cartel videos. Cartels are even more depraved. Yet democrats are fine with porous borders letting in whoever

Exactly! I was just about to post this! You can't do much about geography. I have family in Southern Europe and that region is being overrun by migrants who are risking life and limb to make it to Europe. They still keep coming, despite efforts to dissuade them and despite the risk. People who are desperate enough will find a way in to countries that offer them the hope of a better life just like water always finds a way to seep out somewhere.

Latavia McGee (the patient) and Eric James Williams identified themselves and have been returned to the US. I read that "the lone woman" (McGee) was unharmed, which means Williams is badly injured. Thus, Shaeed Woodard and Zindell Brown must be dead.

Such a sad story. Going with a friend to offer support, ambushed by mistake, and killed. May Woodard and Brown rest I'm peace and may the survivors find strength yo move forward.

The US is doing nothing, in fact Biden and Harris have publicly been calling for more immigrants to come no matter what, and the numbers are out of control.

What the PP wrote is correct, Europe is dealing with a similar situation. The only difference is that in Europe your babies don’t automatically get citizenship.

This is simply false. Since Biden became president, he got Mexico to invest a billion dollars in the common boarder, he included significant technical and other funds for the Border Patrol, interdictions are up, deportations are up and yet you all keep complaining. Yes, it is an issue. Why did the GOP uniformly oppose immigration reform in both 2013 and 2021? The leadership doesn't want to address the problem so people like you will carry their water be be angry at the Dems.

And yes, we need more LEGAL immigrants in this country. Part of the unemployment numbers tell as story of needing more human capital to fill jobs that are currently empty.

The most recent data from November shows that 107,300 people claimed asylum in the EU in November 2022, the highest since 2016.
