This. If you have been eating food that is much lower in fat, your body is not used to the fat in the meal. It was hard on your body. Type of food, diet, age play a role. A 15 - 20 year old would have probably eaten it with no consequences and would have had dessert and another meal a few hours later to follow. It doesn’t mean the food you had was bad, or that it’s bad in general. |
OP reminds me of the kids at my DC’s college who have convinced their parents that they need huge amounts of extra $$ for eating out because the food in the dining hall ”makes their stomach hurt.” |
I couldn't care less about how you feel. |
| OP, this is why I avoid fast food like the plague. Go ahead and call me a snob…I don’t care. |
Agreed |
Good for you OP! I’m shocked how Americans justify eating so much crap. No wonder the rates of diabetes, heart disease and cancer are so high in this country. |
| OP, I empathize with you. Some people can handle eating FF. I am NOT one of those people. As a kid, I might have gone to eat FF once or twice a year. When, I first graduated from college, my place had no kitchen so I had Wendys once a week. Now, I cannot eat FF. I like the smell, but if I eat it, I will be running to the bathroom. I think the quality of the food is much worse. |
I agree. We have family in the Midwest and they looked at me with two heads when I grab a carrot to snack on instead of Cheetos. |
at McD’s in DC with the app you could get two cheese burgers (or mcchicken) for $3.50 and $1.20 for large fries and $1.40 for large soda, so just under $7 with taxes included. I’m curious what you could make with $7 in DC area? |
Let’s be friends. |
| OP, I would get a check up. It’s not normal to have such a strong reaction to eating one fast food meal. Or maybe you have some health problems you are already aware of? |
|
Op I agree with you- depending on the day fast food can definitely make you feels sick, and I am not the healthiest eater.
Hope you are all good now. |
Black lentils at whole foods are 3 bucks. It could last you a while instead of a 1-time reflux inducing meal. |
|
At least we haven’t gotten updates on OP’s bowel movements.
OP, no one here really cares about your eating habits. |
cooked or raw? |
