Oh, please. Your laughable smugness is noted and dismissed. |
God, I hope this is satire. |
You must be new here. |
This country has an obesity problem and when someone wants to make something healthy, you laugh at them?! |
No one is being smug. You need to think long term instead of short term about what is good for your health and wallet. |
The people calling you ridiculous are likely not people eating at McDonald’s. We are just people who can spot someone who is too primitive in their thinking to understand that what people eat is influenced by culture, psychology and economics. Your cognitive and moral reasoning is at the level of a young teen. Why can’t you see that we aren’t defending unhealthy eating habits but rather pointing out your inferior reasoning? |
| I recently had the opposite experience. I hadn’t been to Wendy’s in years. I had been sick the week before and hadn’t felt actually hungry for days. On a whim I got a single with cheese, junior fries and a small Frosty. Came home and ate it all and it was glorious. I was really hungry and it hit the spot. For me, if I only eat that kind of thing every now and then, it’s fine. I wouldn’t want to eat it regularly, though. But it can be a treat in its own way. |
a pretty good one no less |
Know better, do better. |
+1 “Lentils are a cheap source of nutrition!” …Of course, you need $40 of other ingredients, anppliances, and pantry staples to make a delicious meal with them. |
