WFH Days:
8:00am wake up and brush teeth, wash face
8:15am wake up kids and make sure they get ready (I still sometimes have to help my kindergartener), I also change clothes, turn on my laptop, check a few early AM emails during this time.
8:45am get everyone downstairs and fed, make coffee, check a couple emails
9:10am take the kids to school
9:20am start working

(I work out and shower in the middle of the day)

WOH Days:
7:30am wake up, shower, do hair and makeup, get coffee started
8:15am wake up kids, help them get ready
8:30am change clothes and leave the house (DH gets the kids fed and out the door those days)

grab a protein drink and out of the house for the office by 7:10

Out of curiosity (because I could never get up that early) - what is your evening routine?

Anonymous wrote:I wake up when I hear my husband making lattes. Best alarm! That’s usually between 7-7:30 in Winter and an hour earlier in Spring/Summer.

Drink a latte and a cup of coffee while reading the news on my phone, practicing Spanish, or reading a book (30 mins).

Either take a 3 mile walk in the woods with my dogs or workout at home (1 hr)

Quick shower and do hair and make up if I’m going to be on Zoom (40 mins max, usually closer to 25-30).

Short meditation and affirmations (10 mins)

I WFH and run my own biz so i rarely begin my day before 9:45 am

I always wonder why people with no kids post on this forum.

Really? When do you eat then? I eat around 7 and I'm getting hungry and ready to eat lunch by 12-1. I'd love to eat later in the morning after I've woken up properly, but I teach and can't eat during class.

Are you going? 7 as in reading and watching TV or you actually put lights out and try to sleep at 7? When do you eat dinner or hang out with spouse or engage in hobbies? I'm so curious! I'd love to go to bed as early as... 9:30 or 10, but I'm always tempted to do things. Otherwise it just feels like I work and sleep on repeat.

Wake at 5:45. Empty dishwasher and make DD’s lunch. Wake her and start getting her ready. Give her breakfast. Get myself dressed. Start fussing about getting out the door. Leave at 7am to take her to school.

Back home and Start work at 7:30, all work from home.
