Thank you for posting your 4am wakeup! I've been waking up at 4:45am and need to push it back to 4:30am to get my workout in and not continue to be late for work (teacher who needs to be at school by 7:30am). Thank you for the motivation! |

I’m a woman with two kids, ages 2 and 3.5. I work hybrid and have an equal partner spouse. Wake up at 7:30. Get dressed. Contacts in. Brush hair and put it in a braid. Brush teeth. Deodorant. On WFH days, go upstairs and “make” breakfast (cereal, oatmeal, cottage cheese or similar with fruit and veggie on the side). On in office days, husband does breakfast and instead I pack for work and throw together my lunch. Kids up at 7:45. |

SAHM here. I have 2 ACs living at home and they are gone to work before I get up. No pets.
- Wake up at 7:30 am. DH brings me morning tea before heading out to office. - Take my meds. - Make bed. - Shower and grooming - Pray - Pick laundry from each room, remake beds (because my family does an adequate job, but I like a well made bed), pick up dishes to take down, quick clean for two bathrooms, vacuum upstairs, empty the wastepaper baskets and vacuum dust container. Go downstairs. - Make a simple Breakfast - toast, egg, fruits, tea...and scroll group texts. - Sort and start laundry, empty dishwasher, put away stuff - shoes, coats, bags, paper, grocery, cushions etc. Vacuum if needed - Clean countertops, sink etc. - Water indoor plants. - Continue with laundry, cleaning, checking out fridge for grocery. - Leave the house to run errands. |

Wake up 6:45, check email and read trades for my field
Get out of bed at 7:00, put on workout clothes, brush teeth Make coffee, check in to make sure kids have what they need for lunches and what not Walk dog Take kids to bus stop, work out Shower, start work |
| Wake up at 6:15 make coffee. Walk the dog 6:25/30 for 1/2 hour. Feed dog and drink coffee, look at work email and social media until about 7:30. Shower. If I have teams meetings put on make up and style hair. At my desk by 8. This deviates if I have an earlier meeting or if it’s raining and I only take dog for a few minutes. The adjustment is in what time I wake up. Will get up earlier.I like the 1/2 hour I have to sit with my coffee and it’s quiet in the morning. |
Try to be in the bed by 9 but I don’t fall asleep until around 9:30-9:45. |
With 2 adult kids working, have you thought about getting a job? |
