Ugh, I feel like it takes WAY too long, but I'm really struggling to figure out how to trim it.
0630 - up, pee, shower (I start slow) 0650 - start coffee, pull breakfast out for the kids 0700 - kids get up, chat with them for a minute while they sit down to breakfast. Drink my coffee while packing lunches for all three of us (mostly prepped the night before, but some things like cutting fresh fruit or heating a thermos of soup take a few minutes extra). Feed the cats. 0730 - DH takes the kids to school. I dress, dry my hair, 2 minute makeup routine. Usually on the road to work by 7:45 or so. |

I wake up at 6 to have 40 min of peace and quiet and drink my coffee.
6:40 empty dishwasher, make breakfast, put lunches in lunch box (made the night before) 6:45 get dressed 7:00 wake up middle school kid and eat breakfast 7:15 walk the dog 7:30 drive kid to school I'm a SAHM so after that I go to the gym and run errands, housework. |

6:15 - wake up 6:15-6:30 - get dressed in gym outfit, brush teeth/hair, use serums, make bed, toss in load of laundry 6:30 - get kiddo up 6:30-7:15 - make coffee and kid breakfast, feed/water/scoop cat, empty dishwasher, make preschool snacks, pack backpack, write to do list for day, get kid dressed 7:30 - drop kid at school, go work out 8:30 - shower/dress, start to do list before school pickup (kid is out at 10:45am) |

I wake up when I hear my husband making lattes. Best alarm! That’s usually between 7-7:30 in Winter and an hour earlier in Spring/Summer.
Drink a latte and a cup of coffee while reading the news on my phone, practicing Spanish, or reading a book (30 mins). Either take a 3 mile walk in the woods with my dogs or workout at home (1 hr) Quick shower and do hair and make up if I’m going to be on Zoom (40 mins max, usually closer to 25-30). Short meditation and affirmations (10 mins) I WFH and run my own biz so i rarely begin my day before 9:45 am |

7:30: wake up when the kids come in for a cuddle (ages 5 and 9)
7:45: go to the kitchen -- make an easy breakfast, make tea for myself, drink a huge glass of water with lemon 7:50: kids eat, I write my "morning pages" for 20 minutes with tea. 8:10: I take a shower, DH helps the kids get dressed and backpacks ready 8:30: everyone out the door. kids to school by 8:45, my workday starts at 9 |

6:30 - treadmill walk/jog.... only for 10-12 minutes, ha! And shower/wash hair.
by 7 I'm downstairs to make breakfast and pack kid's lunch 7:10-7:30 eat Change.... this takes awhile sometimes 7:55 floss, brush teeth, make sure kid's teeth are brushed 8:05 final check that kid has everything in bag, has a coat, has lunch, out to the bus by 8:12 Morning routine would take longer if I wore makeup. I just wear sunscreen and brush my eyebrows with a toothbrush. I'd like to look a little more even with makeup, but I have all kind of allergies and sensitivities. My hair is straight and fine, so I just towel dry it and by the time it's time to brush teeth my hair is try and I brush it with a Mason-Pearson brush. |

I'm not good with routines. I've never been a creature of habit. But during the school year I wake up at 5:00 and workout at 5:30 about 4 days a week, get home and get my DS up and out to school by 7:15.
Then I loll around with my coffee and phone for too long, realize I'm late, take a mad scramble shower/makeup/throw on my work "uniform" (I always wear a dress) and then head in to the office, usually taking my 9:00 conference call from the road. Then each night I promise the next day I won't scroll my phone and instead will meditate and pray for 15 minutes and leave for the office by 8 but I don't. |
Not the pp but if I wash my face at night I don't need to in the AM, and my skin gets dry if I do. I just put on lotion and sunscreen. I've never gotten eye crusties. |
Same here. Wash it at night and just put on sunscreen/moisturizer in the morning. No eye crusties here either. |
I'm an oldie, too. Usually get up around 7. First hour of the day is coffee, crossword, Wordle, Spelling Bee, reading the news online, emptying the dishwasher and other small chores. Next hour is walk or workout, shower and dress. The rest of the morning is reading, study and writing time. (My avocation is creative writing.) |
| I wake up at 7:30 and lie in bed listening to npr til 8 ish. Get coffee then sit in bed drinking it and scrolling on my phone til 9:15. Then maybe a shower and get dressed or just do some work in my pjs. Breakfast around 10. Maybe walk the dogs. More work. Putter around. |
