wtf is wrong with you |
These lowlife criminals don’t have weapons is the bright side for you? God help us all. |
^PP, YOU are part of the problem. Bet you wouldn't feel that way if it happened TO YOU.
|
This is a prime example of normalizing violence as part of our society. I don’t know if this person is being serious or a troll. Five strong older adolescent or young men are kicking and trying to shove a woman off the bus. They ganged up on her and are beating her up, yes that is pretty bad. You say 10 years ago they’re throwing rocks at buses which is dangerous, so is kicking at a woman’s head and body. |
They also has their hands around her neck. |
Privilege? It’s such progressive concepts as that, that help lead to lenient attitude toward prosecution and sentencing, that are going in to the upcoming criminal code reform in DC. You are literally letting hoodlums run the show. You can thank Charles Allen and folks who listen to progressive sociologists and folks who don’t care that their attempts at lowering incarceration rates and creating a slap on the wrist environment for teens who commit violent crime like this. You are the ones doing this. Not the tough on crime folks. |
| Good thing the city council is revising the criminal code so these folks won’t spend a day in jail. |
+1 After the council is done revising the code, criminals are basically never going to have to face any repercussions for crimes below murder at all. |
Is there a longer video where they show the perpetrators faces? |
|
I don't blame anyone for not intervening bc obviously the kids would have turned on anyone who did. But I don't get why the driver didn't call/radio for metro police (or regular police). The kids were still on the bus right? So police meet you at the next stop, arrest the kids. I don't get why that didn't happen, the video makes it seem like Metro didn't even know about the incident until Fox5 told them about it.
Why do we even have Metro police, if not for stuff like this? |
No one wants to voluntarily live amongst the criminally minded. More money will be lost for that poor community because the criminals that live there have run amok. Which will create more poverty and demoralization and create more criminals. Etc etc. |
Seriously? We spend the most per pupil in the county on education, have tons of programs, summer jobs, free metro, subsidized housing, free internet for low income folks…I know there is more to be done but you really go out of your way not to assign any accountability for what is ostensibly a horrible beat down. Nice work empathizing with the perpetrators of this violent crime over the victim. That sort of attitude has flowed down into criminal code reform. |
Umm, what? Are you saying this poor lady should have avoided this bus? |
Are you kidding? The fact that you don't think this is that bad is incredibly disturbing. |
