I’m a Biden supporter and I think he’s playing a DANGEROUs game

A post nuked Ukraine would get so much extra support/aid to rebuild that a non-nuked current trajectory Ukraine won’t

Putin bought into the MAGA mythology that Biden was a decrepit forward and got himself pantsed to the point where he’s living out his days mostly isolated in his ultra luxe bunker. No costs to the troops to support morale. Just endless replacement of his military staff.

OP has already posted on many Ukraine threads peeing their pants and basically begging to appease Putin.

It's all right with OP that Putin helps himself to whatever he wants.

OP is so short-sighted in their anxiety and fear that they imagine they're somehow making a safer world for their kids by letting Putin do whatever he wants - when nothing could be further from the truth.

But OP can't think rationally at this point.

OP, take meds for anxiety. Sometimes confrontation is the only way forward to ensure our kids have a mostly-pro-democracy world to grow up in.

There aren’t words to explain how moronic this is.

I think that’s a false choice. I’m starting to suspect the Left is as lacking in critical thinking skills as the Right. That is tragically sad to write out. I think te Left’s principles are better, but I’m seeing a lot of sheep.

Putin won’t strike us homeland with nukes

Tac nukes used in Ukraine don’t affect USA long term

Their us however weakens Russia even more.

The cold blooded calculation is to goad Russia into using tac nuke in Ukraine

The entire world woijld turn on Russia and Russia would bleed out even more in Ukraine and Russia would destabilize further

No one is goading Putin into doing anything. Everything has been his choice.

You can’t really believe that. The West has made several stupid and testosterone-fueled moves too. I love Macron’s stern warning that we need to be prudent. While I like Zelenskyy fine, Biden works for the US, not for Ukraine.

BoTh SiDEs.

The Russians are the largest suppliers of arms to Ukraine. They have abandoned over 450 functional battle tanks (plus parts from nonfunctional units) because they ran out of fuel, didn’t have time of parts for minor repairs or just surrendered or went AWOL. A grenade in the hatch and the gun barrel would render them inoperable but conscripts lack the training and discipline.

OP here. This is first post I’ve made on Ukraine. I’m starting to wonder if there are Zelensky trolls on this site and you’re one of them. No joke either.

You sound like you’re not as progressive as you think you are.

This is why the GQP is against learning history. People might have learned about how the US responded when Hitler “annexed” Poland. If we can get out of this without US troops being pulled in, it will be a stunning success.

Putin has been very clear that he isn’t stopping with the Ukraine, and any country he attacks next is or will soon be NATO.

In related news, if you don’t stand up to the bully the first time he takes your lunch money, you’re going hungry ll year.

You don’t think a post nuked Ukraine won’t get more help?

Then someone resembling you in every respect has posted before you, my dear.

But your use of "Zelensky trolls" gives you away. He is currently the world's most respected leader, since he's David against Goliath, and has been an excellent and moving communicator about his people's plight.

"Zelensky troll" shows that you have a specific anti-Ukraine and pro-Putin agenda. If you hadn't posted that, I might have believed you were a genuinely frightened citizen.

Sorry, you lose.

I think we’re trying to topple him, thinking this is our chance. I fear that what we’re doing is just pushing him into a corner, leaving him with only one option: nukes.

Do we start planning for a 6-month stay in Wyoming or somewhere away from big cities? That’s crazy right? And yet as I type it I wonder if it’s just prudent at this point.

Ah, I understand this thread now...Trump gave an interview where he said Biden was trolling and taunting Putin which induced Putin to invade in February.

Uh, when and where did this happen?
