I’m a Biden supporter and I think he’s playing a DANGEROUs game

Anonymous
I’d rather have Biden than the former guy, who’s just give Putin what he wants. But I am sick with dread at the dangerous game Biden is playing. I think we’re trying to topple him, thinking this is our chance. I fear that what we’re doing is just pushing him into a corner, leaving him with only one option: nukes.

Do we start planning for a 6-month stay in Wyoming or somewhere away from big cities? That’s crazy right? And yet as I type it I wonder if it’s just prudent at this point.

Never voted Republican in my life. Masters degree from SAIS and strong believer in NATO. I am gravely concerned at how involved we’re getting with Ukraine.

You are either completely for Biden or completely against him. This is how you fight fascism: with uncritical loyalty.

We’re on the same side. Do you have no concerns with what is happening?

I’m worried about the complete lack of critical thinking about Ukraine and Zelensky. Sure, they beat siding with Russia. But I wonder if we’re being played.

Keep rolling out the Kremlin party line.

Russia isn’t gonna nuke the us homeland

At worst they’ll use tac nuke in Ukraine…

….which means we have even more cover to bog down and grind down Russians in Ukraine even more.

Remember people, Ukraine is the anvil we are using to beat down and shape Russia into what we want

The alternative options are all worse and would have disastrous second/third order long term consequences. They've done a good job of staying calm and not getting baited. They also smartly got lend lease set up to get around any problems that might arise should Republicans get a majority in the mid terms. I'm more worried about Erdogan playing us than Zelensky. The Azeri-Armenian stuff is concerning.

Why is the Azeri Azerbaijan stuff concerning?

It’s just some caucasians beating up each other.

Erdogan is a very easy person to understand/deal with if you understand turkey’s geographic importance and respect the power that flows from that geography

Please be specific. What is happening that is making you concerned?

Is it that we are helping supply Ukraine with arms to help fight off the invaders?

Is it that Biden is warning against nuclear Armageddon and trying to prevent Russia from even considering tactical nukes?

Americans are spoiled brats. We cannot stomach the truth. What do you think would happen if Putin uses a nuclear weapon? Do you think the rest of the world is just going to sit back and give him carte blanche? Use you effing tiny brain? It would be Armageddon.

Personally, I prefer fighting to being under Putin's thumb when he decides to annex Alaska!
