Catholic schools gender policy

If your child has any issues whatsoever (different sexuality, mental health issues, learning issues) Catholic school is not for them. If you thought it was for them before, it is not for them any longer.

Or priests could not marry interracial couples, same thing.

Or divorced people could not receive communion, same thing.

Or women could not do certain things on the alter during mass, same thing.

or women could not be part of the Dicastery, same thing.

The Catholic Church as it is currently run by the corrupt men in the US is often pathetic and behind the times.

No you can’t discriminate… it’s against the law and against Jesus.

It’s “Altar.”

And divorce has never barred an otherwise properly disposed individual from communion; it is attempted remarriage that would render the person improperly disposed. This is still Church teaching.

Catholic schools were educating the intellectually disabled when the public schools were pushing for them to be institutionalized. There is a very, very long history of Catholic schools advocating for the education of kids that were discarded by the public schools. You need to read and understand more about he history of special needs education in this country.

Tell that to voice to text.

Also you are very, very, very wrong about divorced people getting communion. In the 80’s it was common place to refuse communion if you were divorced, and absolutely if you remarry.

Are you even Catholic? His old are you that you do not know this?

No point arguing with people who want to believe that ALL of any category of any thing is all the same. They refuse to understand that there can be differences within a group.

Thanks for confirming your ignorance. Here’s a video that shows some of the work being done in the Diocese of Arlington. These kids are welcome and beloved members of our school communities. I think you have a lot to learn, pp.

I am well aware of PVi’s program and St. John’s and Good Counsel.

But I also know they don’t have multiple kids in your child’s classroom with Down’s syndrome. I have also volunteered for 10+ years with the sp Olympics basketball program and know very well how underserved these children are at Catholic schools. Also fyi autism
Is not Down’s syndrome… it’s different. You can’t just lump these children all together.

Some are. In my experience, most are not. It's conform or get out.

I say this as an atheist whose own child is in public school, knock it off. Joining a church or religion is a choice in this country. And no one is making you join or send your kid to a catholic school.
However cudgeling people with But Jesus! doesn’t do what you think it accomplishes.
