diocese of Green Bay schools get millions of taxpayer dollars every year courtesy of the Wisconsin parental choice program (aka vouchers). I would normally agree but if you are going to take government money you shouldn't be able to violate title ix.

They are not violating Title IX.

I'm not Catholic, but I feel strongly that Catholics should be able to run their schools according to their religious teachings.

Can you point to a Catholic teaching that says you must call a trans person by their pronoun assigned at birth?

Remember when catholic schools forced left handed kids to write with their right… because of the devil. Same thing.

Or priests could not marry interracial couples, same thing.

Or divorced people could not receive communion, same thing.

Or women could not do certain things on the alter during mass, same thing.

or women could not be part of the Dicastery, same thing.

The Catholic Church as it is currently run by the corrupt men in the US is often pathetic and behind the times.

No you can’t discriminate… it’s against the law and against Jesus.

That's a misuse of Title IX, which is based on sex, not gender.

Georgetown, ND and BC disagree.

Your backing a bishop that only believe you need to stop racism to immigrants “already here” and sex abuse victims will only get peace through forgiveness.

U r on the wrong side of Jesus’s teachings on this one.

We're talking about the clear language of Title IX here, not what individual colleges think it says. Title IX explicitly prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex. Others want to expand this definition to include gender, which activists admit is a completely different thing. But they want to have it both ways to appear inclusive.

Title 9 includes sex, sexual orientation and gender identity. We agree they are different.

I think it is really sad that an organization that professes to be about social justice and loving and respecting one another is so discriminatory against LGBTQ youth.
