Jesus, some of you are just so nosey!

Right .... yet here you are being "nosey" because you opened this thread and read the replies. Good on you PP

You just inadvertently agreed with the poster that it is a nosey post. Wink

There have been at least two similar incidents in the past couple of years in this part of Bethesda and they were all discussed here. I don’t know why everyone is jumping down OP’s throat.

Just because it’s similar to prior events doesn’t make it ok. Lots of things discussed on here are in poor taste and not appropriate.

Are you the forum police? No one is asking you to visit this site

Might want to ask yourself that nosey.

You’re either a troll or the front of the driver who doesn’t want this discussed.

Yikes! Probably not something that you should say.

Bethesda Beat has a 4:45 update discussing all the incidents at bus stops.

I happen to agree that I would not want this post on here if I were the family. I would put my curiosity aside for the sake of it not being a topic of discussion on something like this.

There are a number of posts that are sending positive thoughts to the family. I think any family would like to know that the community supports them in a time of need.

All the more reason why I agree it should not be.

Community can support without posting on here. Again, I would not want this being a topic of discussion on here if it concerned a loved one.

I think the discussion has been very respectful with people just wishing the family well and I think it's important to highlight bus stop safety. I was interested to see that in 2020 said it would review the locations. Was that ever done or was it put on hold because of covid? I wish they would prioritize these types of issues instead of some of the other things they have taken on.

This is very much an mcps issue
Where are the student Patrols that are supposed to be at every bus stop? I've seen kids all over the place walking to and from school this year.

There aren't that many safety patrols.

You are paid to shut up parents. This is a dangerous bus stop and an avoidable injury to a family. Mcps has been told to clean up these bus stops and refused. Now we know Todd Watkins couldn’t be bothered with safety. He was too busy skimming off $600,000.

Paid to shut up parents? What does that mean? I just know that this tragedy should not be a topic on here with busy bodies. I would not want that and neither would you. It’s out there, doesn’t need to be here. And don’t tell me it’s done respectfully, this is intrusive which is not respectful.

So you are saying that having the post on here is under the guise of the problem will be solved by doing so.
