Yuck- you sound so ugly on the inside. Ps nobody cares that you are not from the US. |
But…if she didn’t constantly say negative things about Americans, then what would her identity be?
|
She'd be Jane Schmoe, average schlumpy lady from England/France/whatever who doesn't rate a second glance at home. |
| I wouldn’t call myself beautiful but I am pretty. I don’t care if woman is overweight in fact some women look very good in bigger weight. As someone said most of the “ugly” things are fixable with money and will, like skin, ugly haircut, hideous clothing etc. |
| A truly beautiful woman wouldn't comment on another person's looks. |
There are multiple types but go ahead and be pretty and skinny because you are not smart! |
No she wouldn’t but might think something. Especially something really gross. |
+1. I feel like if someone is putting on clothes in attempt to look good, and I know some of those leggings cost enough to make a decision to pick them and wear them, I am not going to feel bad for thinking to myself that they most certainly do not look good. It's one thing to judge someone on something they can't control (and I know "control" is debatable). But I feel entitled to judge one person's aesthetic if they're participating in the world with their own opinions. |
| It's usually men looking down on beautiful women. Or looking up depending on mood or fav position |

I was pretty in high school (homecoming court) and through my 20s. Once I had kids, I stopped trying. I would be much more attractive if I ate healthier, shopped for nicer clothes, and styled my hair. I make plenty of money (HHI $350K), I just don’t care. I wear jeans, T-shirts, and sneaker everywhere.
I never looked down on unattractive women when I was younger. Some of my best friends were not attractive. As an adult, I sometimes get the side eye from a really put together woman (who obviously still cares and puts in effort). I just don’t care enough to do more. |
| Absolutely not! |
| Every woman has something about her which is beautiful. Whoever these women are who are insulting others, they suck. While they may be objectively pretty, they are the ugly people. |
Meh. A mom friend of mine is one of those overweight women in printed leggings, and she’s a really lovely person. She’s a hell of a lot better than many of the better-put-together moms I know. |
PP, pls give us your acne and hair tips. I can't be the only who could use them. Thanks! |
I wouldn’t assume this PP is from Europe. I know women from Middle East and East Asia and South Asia who also dress up more than a lot of the women in the US. I’m not saying they judge those who don’t dress up though. Americans tend to dress more casually than just about all the other countries. I don’t care about how someone dresses as long as they are not smug about it. And yes, fat and poorly dressed people can be smug too. I am curious about what PP means by printed leggings? Can you post a picture. I personally only wear leggings when working out and they are all solid colored. I do have a few patterned bike shorts, but I only wear them biking or running. |
