Has every cheater you met been trashy?

No

Yes! If they cheat, it’s a mind set. This mindset manifests in other ways as well because it’s a way of thinking and be able to justify bad behaviors. They give themselves a reason why what they did is justifiable and that thought process carries over in other spheres in life.

Bill Gates was a nerd cheater. I think he's disgusting and slimy. A lot of those Epstein clients were degenerates, like your dad.

Bezos and his broad are definitely trashy. Her all over Leo DiCaprio and her multiple affairs--yuck.

The married women cheaters I know were all trashy at parties (even the upscale ones). They gave off the I'll blow you under the table vibes and acted much like Sanchez if there was a ''high value' man around--even in front of their husbands or if it was a co-worker or friend's husband.

+1. Nerdy has nothing to do with being trashy. Above examples of nerds being slimy are good ones.

Affairs happen all the time in the corporate world. Also in affluent communities.

I don’t think trashy is a good word. People associate trashy with Jersey Shore reality tv behavior and ergo think rich, stiff upper lip types can’t be trashy.

I think it's true that we might not know they cheated, but this would be the type of person who covers up a problem, blames someone else for a mistake, or lies about an interaction or outcome.

It's a poor conscience and poor self regulation over over regulation.

What about people like Martin Luther King, Jr, JFK, or Bill Clinton that were cheaters but also were leaders who did things about the oppressed?

Other than the cheating trashiness, we were surprised by a friend found on the Ashley Madison leaked list several years ago. He was a professional, retired Navy Admiral, currently CEO of a large Annapolis firm. He was the perfect husband, dad, coach, church-goer, friend. Tall and handsome and witty. I guess I wasn't shocked he cheated, but he wasn't trashy in any other visible way.

Mmmm I'd say narcissistic more than necessarily "trashy". Also prone to moral relativism, not just in sexual matters. "Yes I did x (generally frowned upon thing) but I had a reason I deemed as sufficient, regardless of the pain or damages it caused others".

No. The worst cheater we know was father and husband of the year for decades until the truth came out.

Like I said, narcissism.

A lot of people who are overly idealistic or overly positive have a shadow behavior. This is why a lot of church leaders have these issues. They can only express their more out of control behavior in secret.

Again he was the perfect "fill in the blank". People trying too hard to be perfect. Not real.

What about the "classy" people you know, but you just don't happen to know they are cheaters?

I think nerdy guys cheating later in life kinda makes sense to me. They’re pretty much invisible to women when they’re younger and they’re a little behind the curve socially speaking. As they age their interpersonal skills improve, plus they experience success, plus they’re smart which women start to care about later in life. Suddenly, they’re not as invisible as they’ve been all their lives and someone actually wants them. Meanwhile, their wives got to experience all the dating and sex they wanted in their younger years and were pretty much over it by the time they got married.
