DP, can you please keep up? This has all been discussed. Feinstein respected Dr Ford's request for anonymity as long as she could. It was Dr Ford who came forward after being harassed by the media. She testified that she came forward reluctantly, but felt it was her civic duty. Also during the hearing Feinstein reiterated that she played no part in releasing Dr Ford's name or leaking the letter. She also reiterated that no one on her staff did any leaking. Let's put this darn thing to a rest, please.

And, we don’t believe her. It was either Feinstein or Anna Eshoo. Feinstein has a history of leaking.

Evidence?

They were the ONLY two with the letter. ONLY TWO. Unless, one of them gave it to another Dem without Dr. Ford’s consent.

This is dead on.

Many of these incidents just don't seem like a big deal to the perpetrators. This mentality is common among bullies as well. They often genuinely don't see what they are going as particularly awful and feel like the victim is making a big deal over nothing. Kavanaugh is probably stonewalling because he genuinely feels unfairly vilified over what he regards as mostly harmless youthful hijinx that are being blown out-of-proportion.

Yes, yes, and yes!

He is totally innocent of these allegations - all of them - of that, I have no doubt at all.
And, it astounds me how many people believe he is guilty when there is no evidence, no corroboration, no details, no real facts. Absolutely astounding.

Testimony IS evidence. Whether or not you personally believe it is enough evidence is another point entirely. Ford provided hours of evidence with her testimony today

Yep. And so did Kavanaugh. The difference is Kavanaugh’s testimony was filled with facts - dates, people, places, events - very detailed facts. Dr. Ford’s lacked those entirely.
And, the people she did name have all said they have no knowledge of such a gathering.

Right because all of us preppy boys do stick together. I got your back bro!

The get-together is on his calendar...

What get together? The one that nobody else can remember having happened? That one is NOT on his calendar because it never occurred.

Yes, it was likely July 1. It's on his calendar.

You are so full of $hit. You are totally making $hit up.

You mean like how he always keeps his calendar? And lied lied lied about what he did in high school? He had extremely detailed facts in way that seems completely rehearsed and yet he lied about what he actually did in high school in college. He is in damage control and knows a FBI investigation will prove he had a drinking problem.

The drinking problem so many people have already come out on record saying he has!!!

And the drinking problem explains why she knows he did it, and he doesn't remember it.

That’s my belief as well. And, that he lied about never having blacked out. Or he might not know he ever blacked out unless someone brought up what happened.

Why do you believe Leland Keyser is refusing to confirm this ever took place? Ford volunteered her as her witness, after all.

She said she didn't remember the party. NOT THE SAME!

According to Ford after she “escaped” the house she ran out without speaking to anyone, never to return. Leaving her best friend alone, as the only girl, in a strange house with a group of drunk rapist boys. Yet, she never later asked her best friend if she had been attacked? And, her friend didn’t ask her why she ran out and left her alone? Just weird.

Maybe because she was 15, was just a victim of attempted rape, terrified, and barely escaped a very bad situation?

Didn’t warn her best friend she was in impenetrable danger that night, ok. But the next day, the next week, no concern? At this tight knit all girls school it doesn’t add up.

It is astounding to me that people still think sexual misconduct/assault is only believable if someone else witnessed it, or videotaped it. or watched it happen on the 50-yard line during Monday Night Football.

It's a sexual crime. Absent a rape kit, it's almost aways a he-said/she-said thing. If only someone had witnessed this incident....

Wait! Someone did! Wish we could actually hear from him. But that would take time and cause delays and we can't delay putting a justice on the SCOTUS....

Yes, this...+10000

Wrong camera angle. He's blocking her.

Ford: I don’t think so.

Mitchell: Do you know who did?

Ford: Not yet, no.

The lawyers said they paid for it! Did you not watch?!
She also said she has had to move twice since then.

And?

Polys cost hundreds/thousands. They are not free. She doesn't know "yet" who paid for it?

What does moving have to do with who paid for the poly?

Her lawyers paid for the poly. They are working pro bono. Two gofund me accounts have raised almost half a million dollars.

She wrote the letter to Feinstein on July 30 and started interviewing lawyers almost right away. Katz was recommended to her by Feinstein. Interestingly Feinstein didn't send the letter to the chairman or the FBI, but advised her to hire a lawyer and do a poly first. The prosecutor pointed out the right process to deal with it is to do a forensic interview in confidence.

Then why didn’t she just say her lawyers paid?

Simple.

Ford's lawyer - the Katz firm - had it.

You are a complete jacka**. When you're in danger, you run. That's instinct. And when you're a victim, the instinct is to hide the fact that you've been debased. Glad that you've never had to know what this feels like you garbage human.

And the “female assistant” was given the hook as soon as she started nosing around about it.
