Future Capital parent?

I have seen both parents attack refs, players and spectators for years. Disgusting. Can’t believe BLC allows that.

Coppermine 2030 game vs Rebels devolved into an almost fight with parents from both teams verbally attacking refs and threatening to physically attack on ref. Prior to the almost fight, Coppermine had 10 yellow cards in the game and generally had two players out for large portions of the half

Interesting. So the players are aware of where they are on the depth chart?

Not sure why you called out the goalie, unless you have a personal interest in doing so.

Re: goalies and this purported replacement, what are teams typically trying to achieve with their goalies as of Middle School time and entering High School? Are they all trying for the best two they can get and ideally they would be of equivalent talent/skill/performance? Or they focus on just one star and the other purposefully lesser who would accept being a backup and never playing? Or would teams be perfectly happy or prefer one star and no backup to contend with. What is the ideal or ideals that teams are working towards or would want? Thanks!

Players are only aware when they see they are not playing or playing as much. There are lots of questions as to how the decisions are being made but that’s not being shared. Only rec is to do better and be better :-/

Lots of questions too re: HC not showing for most mnd practices and missing games. Parents and players are scared to note concerns.

HG seems to be thriving on the other hand. Some of those players are headed to SPSG for high school and have no desire to switch to MnD

Rumor Mill has it that one unhappy MnD red player is going to try out for Capital. Have seen her play a couple of times and not sure she will make it - because she’s trying for a position no bmore coaches have felt comfortable letting her play. Pretty tough to do play a new position with all the talent coming to Capital. Hoping she doesn’t burn bridges when word gets back to MnD, as it almost always does

This seems like parent fishing. If your daughter can make Capital you take that 10 out of 10 times over M&D Red. No brainer.

There are at least 5-10 M&D Red players who could make Capital if they wanted to go south.

Capital isn't ranked in the top 10 in any of the high school age divisions. Let's stop pretending that it is the equivalent of M&D Black or Hero's Green.

Agreed

Bethesda teams are always strong. Why don't they continue their program in to high school ?

This Red team is full of itself. MAYBE 2-3 players from that team could make Cap Blue. If this Red team is so good, which good team have they beaten?

Once M&D gets to recruiting, they'll play equal playing time so players just need to get through this summer. I think that's how most team play in high school to get the girls recruiting

The danger with M&D, they will move kids from black to red the summer before soph year, essentially killing their recruiting.

I will say, last sundays games had an absurd amount of fouls, imo it was officiating like a rec game. Legal checks were blown dead.

It’s not HG or M&D Black but Capital gets the kids recruited, even overrecruited & honestly that should be the goal for all kids, get overrecruited.

Their 2027 team was ok, top 25, but their commits were very strong.

You must not be local. Black players don’t drop down to Red. Their pride/feelings won’t let them. They usually go to Skywalkers

From what I’ve seen/heard, Black and Red get recruited without any issues. Funny that no one will care who any of these players they played for the moment they hit college, and then many players will get fed up with riding the bench and ultimately transfer. Happens every year. It seems more important for parental flexibility & bragging rights. Somewhat pathetic IMO.

Bad calls happen everywhere - all the time. Regardless, no parent should be threatening a referee or another parent. Ever
